I have an Arcade Duo card as well. It works on all Arcade games I have but not PCEWorks Sapphire. It worked sort of one time and then glitches out on level 3 and now I can't get past the loading screen. I thought it might be the disc and got another one. same deal. I'm running on a Duo-R. Maybe it is the card or the Duo-R.

I'm not sure if cleaning the pins is it but I will try it. Anyone else have similar issue in the past?

Well I wrapped up Babylon 5 and the movies. I started watching the Crusades season but I"m having a hard time pushing through. I'm not sure how quickly I will get through. Also there seems to be another movie after that season I hope it wraps it up and not start something that will not be finished.

I'm in Season 5 of Babylon 5. Really enjoying this show. Sad to be on season 5 knowing there is no 6 but there is still a lot to watch. I will likely rewatch season 1 after I finish it all.

For me Night Trap was the first game I bought for my Sega CD after playing the pack in games. I owned this game before the US senate freaked out about it and I found the whole debacle hilarious since the game is very tame.

Night Trap is pretty lame as a game and very campy as a B movie.
You beat the game by having a notepad next to you logging all the beeps and the time and location of each trap. After a few playthroughs you have a working log of where to go and when and that is kind of boring.

As for going back and playing the Sega CD while the first version is not the best in terms of video quality. The 32X CD version improved on both scale  and  colors. The 3DO version has the best video quality. The PC and Mac versions is about the 32X video quality. This new version will have the best video quality as the game was originally going to be on a VHS JVC console I think.

FMV games where new to console and while new was exciting the interest dropped very quickly and for good reason.

If you look at my Sega CD games I had you can see why the Sega CD was not a huge success.

Sonic CD was my favorite at the time.

I really hope Limited Run games ups their order on Night Trap as the worst and most frustrating thing about Limited Run Games is trying to buy the game.

Also I'm a little off put buy selling cover variants. That seems like a scumbag move to sucker collectors and cause people to buy more than one copy. If your going to make a variant cover just make it reversible. These games are limited as it is. Now they split the inventory into three.

Here is the third option. They couldn't get the original as some Collector owns the original painting that was used to print from. I will pick this third option. I hope I can get to buy it before it sells out.

I found out the cover will be reversible so there is the reversible cover and the 32X version is exclusive to a private group of people.

Yes, I'm hooked. Now I'm in the middle of season 4 and watched Thirdspace movie. I'm not really seeing the season talk about it much. Also am I going to be happy with the end of all this or left upset with a big cliffhanger? Also I really enjoy being pleasantly surprised but the guest stars on this show.

Well I started watching and after about 3 episodes I went back and watched The Gathering. I'm about halfway through season 2 and I have been enjoying it. I was surpised with the recast of the captian. I would love to know the story behind that one. I know there are other movies and I have tried tracking down a watch order list.

I just went through Mighty's post history. Well that was fun. I know I have made mistakes here but wow. Maybe people shouldn't come here asking to buy all the games. Saying they saw TG16 on youtube and now without playing the games they want all of them and would like to get a good deal here. Also asking to buy Magical Chase is another red flag. This place is not turbo zone direct.



One thing I really love about this place is that it is active and we all love this stuff.

Well they might not be able to it it will not run on a flash cart. Also My understanding is this just got out. It was made 2010 I think from a competition. If it can run on a custom cart then that would be cool.

I take it no one got it running on actual hardware. The Wii mod sounds cool that it is working there.

Spend some more time outside buy/sell threads and you'll see that you're wrong.  Many of us own rare games, have complete sets, and/or are working towards complete sets; we only ridicule and scorn the guys that do it stupidly, paying far too much for their stuff and trying to complete their set as soon as possible, only to sell it all when the next shiny bauble comes along.  Even worse, they'll often try to scoop up deals here or ask for help finding better prices, then dump it all on ebay for maximum profits.  Those types of people contribute nothing to the community.

But you don't really care about intelligent reasoning, as you're just a troll.  All you wanna do is piss and moan about how much this place sucks, rarely ever participating in discussions about the games themselves or doing anything positive.  In short - go fuck yourself.

Hey Maybe you have seen this but there is a Sonic 2 hack where you can play as Yoshi. I have a flash cart for my genesis and tried to play it on real hardware. I can't get past the startup screen on a Model 1 and CDX. I was wondering if any of you have tried the same with different results. I;m sure this plays fin on an emulator. If you haven't seen this game here is a link. Also it was created in 2010 during a rom hacking competition. Just recently released outside of that.

I watched this a while back. I was disappointed that he left out how much was paid for games. I didn't understand him setting the harsh time frame he put on himself. I mean some people spend years if not decades collecting all these games. This guy was already a collector. His love for Darth Maul left me suspect of his taste level. Also I don't understand this completionist mind set in game collecting. I generally just buy games I want to play. I mean there was a lot of crap out there.

I don't know about all companies, but the official dev systems were connected to PC-9801 computers.  Who knows how they handled the colour limitations of computers in the '80s...?  But here's a link and video footage to give some hints:

A few people have given us stuff. Most let us borrow stuff which kinda sucks because we don't really have enough time to really get to know the system. The exception of course being the X68000, we had that for 6 months.

Well that X68000 takes about a month to hook up. That was a cool episode but that system takes so much space. It really requires its own desk.

I don't play import RPGs. I don't read Japanese. I import for price and many games didn't get a US release and do not have a huge language barrier to playing the game. Shooters are great to import. Hell I have Contra on the NES and I'm thinking of importing the Famicom version because the extra detail that went into that version. I imported Final Fight CD for Mega CD because it is not censored like the Sega CD version that I already had.

They said they have stock for this year and the next for the Framemeister. The OSSC is cool and even already having a Framemeister this still interests me. The OSSC is sort of a moving target and keeps improving. The OSSC can change a lot in a year or two.
