Probably the best sidescrolling action Platformer you can get for the system, aside from the Legendary Axes.  Play & enjoy ^-^

both legendary axe still hold a better in my hearts since i had it as a kid back then.
...but damn, cant believe i used to finish this game.. ending stage is quite hard

Hilarious "fact" posted in the description of the $100,000 Magical Chase on eBay:

"The American based Toys-R-Us chain sold brand new copies of TTI's Magical Chase for a mere $19.99 USD brand new back in early February of 1994. Despite it's initial debut release on December 31, 1993, it wasn't distributed by any retail stores other than Toys-R-Us in early 1994. None of the American retailers like Babbages', Electronics Boutique, Funcoland, Software etc. & even The Good Guys! stores never got in their allotted shipment of the uber-rare TTI's MC to sell. If it's not a simple connection problem (dirty contacts), then the batteries are probably dead and need changed.

didnt play it yet, but i heard that bonk's revenge is still on top of this one.

I have noticed that people who didn't have a TG16 when they were younger tend to not like it as much.

My first suggestion would be to do this testing with an SD CRT. Then at least you can be %100 positive as to what's going on with the video. With all that modern junk in there you could have a perfect picture and not even know it if the set is being picky for whatever reason.

yeah i dont have a single thing here for testing.
i do have 2 sony trinitron but vogatek IV only have a scart output...and i only have a scart/hdmi box....and well those tvs dont have hdmi input so testing with it is pretty much useless right now...so first thing first.. i got to find someone with better tools.. else i'm gonna throw money a bit everywhere without much more then crossing my fingers...

Does this board have any kind of audio out other than the JAMMA edge? That too is a valuable help. If you can hear the game running and not see video (something most SD CRTs will let you do, many HDTVs don't) then that's valuable info.

nope.. only way to get sound is with Jamma with this sucker.....
i would have prefered a real audio out onboard 

Is there a power LED on this board? It seems like it would.

As others have said, the board should made a test pattern even without a cart.

Most people who are into arcade stuff have enough junk laying around to swap things out for diagnostic aid. It's usually much easier. You're probably headed this way too, so my advice is to get another MVS mainboard and see how that goes.

yeah the led lights up when i power the board.
i checked, 12v and 5v reach the board too.

yeah i removed it right after to check if id see some grid...
nothing at screen.

ive checked if i can get volts.
4.85 on both 5v
and 12.1 on 12v ..
so i guess for a start the power is going into the board

If you bought an "untested" pcb off ebay you bought a broken board. If the seller sells other arcade stuff they are perfectly capable of testing a pcb

nope seller dont usualy sell arcade parts.. he just found one.. since he knew i already had
some parts back home, he proposed me a deal.  ...nobody seem to know about this

as if its about to have something being shown...

got nothing...someone told me it could that my scart box cant upscale 59hz
i think my scart cable could be a problem too since i dont recall having that cable...maybe it was a defective one (but if it was i would have trashed it..so..not sure yet)

Hi everyone

i recently came upon a deal to get a non-tested MV-1fz.
i already had many of the stuff needed to make it work. (well i think)
but i cant even get a video signal.

here's what i use.
Mv-1fz
138-in-1 cart with pcb thing..
vogatek IV supergun
atx PSU 600w.
scart cable + scart/hdmi box

when i plug a jack plug into the headphone im not hearing anything.
and no video is being shown...even when no game in 

but all lights are on when i start it up.
surely something is off that i dont understand.. anyone had something similar happening ?

i always think TG16 went totally under radar around here...

i really enjoyed valis II

ok ..so all the fuss i had last year about that s-video being shit on my PCE-duo R from doujindance...i was right !? i throwed a couples of emails about his s-video looking like total crap...even losing colors.. and he kept telling me my TV was the problem because at his place everything worked fine.

At least my RGB setup saved the day in the end but the s-video is a no-no situation.

2. Apply both text & dub patches.
3. Burn with ImgBurn at slowest speed - free and powerful.

If that fails, PM me for a link to a fully prepatched ISO/WAV/CUE zipped archive. No reason you should not get to enjoy this fully in English.
