TED playing renamed .hes files

I've had mixed results when a TED has actually played an .hes file renamed to .pce and straight .hes files in general.

Too many sound like they're missing sound channels or just aren't playing right. Although it's still hit and miss, I've found enough examples now of hes files playing better on the v2 TED than the original. It sucks that the v2 TEDs don't work on so many modified setups, but here is one more reason to keep a cheap unmodified core unit and v2 TED.

I'd still appreciate an hes player or compilation CD (or a rom size padder) more than any other homebrew. As it is, I still have to idea how to record the music from Legend of Xanadu II.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

All (?) ripped HES files are supposed to run as PCE ROMs as well, but many of them run way too fast before being fixed.  Who knows why?

You can check out a few Visual HES ROMs I made over here: https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=18260.0
They should play at normal speed, and even have song timers so you can hear the whole soundtrack.

It seems like about half of the hes files I've tried work at all. I've now figured out that sometimes the way that the bad ones crash affects the hardware and nothing will play again until I power off the console.

I've had mixed results with hes files, hes files renamed to .pce and hes files converted to sound roms with that one app. Some soundtracks only play on one of those three formats, but it's random from game to game.

After narrowing things down further today, I've found that I got more overall to play at all using the v1 TED, but some played better and possibly perfect using the v2 TED.

I wish I had the skills to convert files for your Visual HES Player. :/
