Page moves.

Thanks to NightWolve and Jmet, this page still lives. I'll keep the Ys IV project up to date, as long as Neill doesn't have his own page for Ys IV. https://www.pcengine-fx.com/rigg/aki/

What's up..

My updates seen to be semi-annual these days. :) Anyways, I'm back from the army and lots of things have happened. My projects kinda died for a year and I have been "pretty" busy because of the boot camp. The PC Engine research stuff came very outdated when RIGG was born, and I joined the group as a sound checker. Anyways, here's the Ys IV update. While I was in the army, the Ys IV project kinda died. In July 2002, with the help of NightWolve, Neill extracted the script from the first data track. Shimarisu noticed that the script was a bit incomplete, so she played the game through and translated the whole script on the fly. I didn't have time to translate at all, thanks to the army.. So, the project is now completely Shimarisu's and Neill's. I'm glad that I got this project going, even though I couldn't do anything for it. :/ So, the script is ready, but the rest is up to "our" programmer. :) We'll have to see and wait. I'm currently checking NightWolve's Xak III script and re-writing it. (Paul, if you're reading this, you've done AWESOME job! :D) Another thing. This page will die soon. My home currently resides with RIGG. I'm pretty sure that this page is not needed anymore, because of the wonderful (?) age of bincues. (Thank god the ISO/MP3 period is dying :) ) Btw, I have a new email address and you can find me in the RIGG messageboards and on Dalnet #rigg. I'll see you there...

The projects.

Merry Christmas everyone! Again, sorry for the lack of updates. Since I'm off to the army on the 7th of January 2002, Neill and I decided to put Ys IV to ice until I'm back from the boot camp. Don't expect updates during those nine months.. unless something happens with my projects. Jya ne, take care everyone! ^^

Lots of things

Sorry for the lack of updates.. as you can see, the page has moved, and my email address has changed. See the contact page for the address. Well, we've found a hacker for the Ys IV project, Neill Corlett! Yes, the same man who hacked Seiken Densetsu 3! See the project update in the Ys IV translation project page. I also added Neill's page to the links section.

Translation projects and the burning section.

Sorry for the long delay people.. I've had some personal Real Life(TM) problems and I've been busy translating. The burning section is up now, but it doesn't have any information yet. The page will be up soon.

Now the great news. Shimarisu and I have given a thought of translating Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys and Tengai Makyuo / Far East of Eden II: Manjimaru. More info in the "Translations" section. We've run into problems with Ys IV though. The script is compressed and now we need a decent hacker to crack the compression. Shimarisu is a GREAT translator and you can see her latest script work in AGTP's translation of Ys IV: The Mask of Sun. Shimarisu and I will handle the script translation and I will handle all the technical problems which conserns the HE System. If we can't find any hacking help with Ys IV, we will move on to Manjimaru. Tengai 2 doesn't have a compressed script, so it will be propably a lot easier to complete.
