I wouldn't be at all surprised if they get the rights back at some point.  I'd expect it, in fact, unless the app itself is going away.  A lot of money went into those virtual boards and there's certainly a lot of them. 

Some of the pinball fans at my arcade have this app on their phone and will actually practice the boards while waiting their turn in pinball tournaments.  I find that concept kind of hilarious but that's neither here nor there.

At this point yeah hopefully later on farsight studio's can renew the license.The most i played pinball arcade on was the PS4 and i only bought a table occasionally since releases were so slow.Losing bally&williams tables will really slim down the selection.Though it's worse for the switch version,since it came out so late it just get's stern&gottlieb tables.

Basically all of the games are Neo Geo shooters I already owned elsewhere and they are not released physically.  That's why I guess I didn't consider all the shooters on the system, cause I would pass on these.


Also, too bad it isn't Monster Hunter World.  The changes made to the game obviously paid off for Capcom, now they are going backwards.

The most i give credit to that the switch has been getting lot's of pysikyo shooters.Past shooters by them have been split up among many console,plus been very pricey.Such is the case for zero gunner 2 and dragons blaze being the most expensive ones.Yeah,monster hunter generations is just the ultimate edition of the game but it's the more modern one at least.When capcom was making MHW it was before the switch was even announce.That was game was made in mind for the PS4,Xbox-One and the up and coming PC port.

Another announcement monster hunter generations ultimate is coming to the west finally. It came out last year in japan as monster hunter double cross. Monster Hunter World,has been a huge success for them so i guess that's why there giving MHGU a chance here.

I watched this back in the day... it aired (NYC) at an awkward time that most folks would have missed unless they got home from school early... 2:30-3:00?

Anyway, I had no idea there was a toy line until some toy collector site provided the only decent info/references to Spiral Zone for years.



NOTE: I have not watched the video yet.

I watch it asap given the details it gives on how the toy line it started.The show sure was dark for a kids cartoon.

The Neo Geo X was a mini console. It had AC in, HDMI out, full sized joysticks, etc. You must have jumped on the hate train before realizing what it was. It even has a fake plastic shell that looks just like the original but is smaller. Remember?

The issue with the X wasnt it being a handheld or a console (it was both)  but rather quality in key areas. No matter WHAT this thing is there is ZERO reason to suspect this thing wouldn't suck just as bad in key areas making most of what's good about it pointless. Sure, one could blame Tommo for the X but who do you blame for the software SNK is releasing these days?

I hope it's great. I hope it's as good as the last Neo Geo Pocket game they squeezed out, I just doubt that it will be. These types of produce are for people too young to remember the quality of the original.

I was looking forward to neo-geo x when it was announced originally for the novelty sake.Then after it's release i saw the reviews and decided it was not for me beside i was fine having a cmvs by that point.Now i've heard you can hack it to make it playable but you shouldn't have to in the first place.I just hope this,neo-geo mini turns out right but knows if this product will be in house or license out to another.Unlike sega who hasn't still learned since there up&coming megadrive mini is being made by atgames.

I watched the real ghostbusters last year on netflik.The show still holds up well at least season one does after that the show goes downhill.Though i never got into the toys as a kid i all ways thought kenner could have done better with them.Still,this new line coming by from diamond select toys look way better then the original line 

The retro figures were more then I ever expected with there hidden scare modes and accessories, I still giggle with the hair raising figures and the eyes that pop out, teeeeheeee, but ya that new line looks pretty cool.

Dunno when i was kid i had kenner run of star wars and i like it.I don't know why but i got never got into the original toy-line for,real ghostbusters.Still i like this trend of late of taking toys from the 80's and having them redone with more detail with transformers,he-man motu etc.

R.I.P,TRU yeah i've watched videos on what brought them down.I do remember when i was a kid in the 80'&90's,tru was the place to go for video games and toys.Though by the 2000's it wasn't the same any more and beside what kids want now which are tablets and smart phones.It seems,they didn't adapt to change and having good management at all.Any one else remember when you had to use a ticket to buy a game from tru ?

Yes, VidPro cards and bringing the paper slip to the cashier to get the game from a cage was a large part of many peoples childhoods. And it stuck around for a long time, I remember getting Panzer Dragoon Saga that way in 1998 before they had the R-Zone section specifically for games.

Yeah it lasted up to the saturn,n64 and PS1 era.Afther that games were sold on the shelf.I remember when i was a kid i use to live not far from a tru,often i walk down to it buy nes games.When blades of steel first came out i didn't see a card or paper slips.So i went down to the booth and ask and i was able to buy the game regardless.

Thanks for that, Tron! I have 1000 points left over from my buying spree so I'm trying to figure out what I want to spend it on. I've got it narrowed down to The Last Blade 1 or 2, Wonder Boy IV, Sengoku 2 or 3, or maybe some random N64 game.

Don't mention it i just went with a wiiwear,genesis and n64 games for my last buys on the vc.I didn't download any neo-geo games since i all ready have the system itself.Though the switch of late has been getting allot of neo-geo games through the e-shop so there's that.
