This is the Sega brand Wondermega which has the motorized CD door. Whenever I take it out of storage, during which cables/misc sit on top of it, the CD door does not open on its own from fully closed without a gentle tap. After using it regularly again, this no longer happens. But you should buy this assuming that it will always occur. After shooting the video and then taking photos, I hooked it back up to remove the Mega-CD disc I left in and it opened fine on its own.

Comes with official ac adaptor, the composite/stereo cables I received with it (which sometimes need to be twisted into place to fully connect), tested official Sega brand Mega-CD backup ram cart, Sonic 2 game cart with case, Sega Classic Arcade Collection Mega-CD game CIC and Japanese 6-button pad.

$800 USD shipped to U.S. and Canada.

Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

That thing is unnecessarily awesome.

I'm too old and wise to splurge on such things, so here's the obligatory GLWTS.

I feel the exact same way.  I'm a fan of rare consoles and that thing is incredible.
Current want list:  Bomberman 93

I still feel stupid for passing on one of these in Tokyo in '07. Ah well, you can't buy everything. :)

Good luck with the sale!

I hear you, I passed on a pair of Aiwa units years ago and still regret it immensely.

I passed on buying a PC Engine LT for $600 in 2008 because I thought I could get one cheaper :P

tbf, I passed on some good deals too.  I'm actually pretty happy with most of the stuff I did get though

yeah, I'm ultimately not complaining, I've gotten good deals! but it's hard to forget those times you passed something up.

It's the bad moves you made, or in this case didn't, that you always remember.

Yep.  Swapping my boxed Multimega for a game gear, losing my copy of Avengeing Spirit for gameboy (fml) and lending a friend all my nes games.

Luckily, none of that cost me much, but holy shit is it sad.

I threw away a copy of Landstalker CIB for Genesis because I didn't like the cover.  I traded a Gaea's Cradle (MTG card) for the new hot card at the time.  They were both worth roughly $20.  Now the Cradle is over $200 and the other card is less than a dollar.

This is really cool.  I remember when the big deal was that it was the only Genesis/Mega Drive is S-video out. Now that is not so important but it still has a cool name and design and I just can't pull the trigger on this but maybe someday.

I still know the day when the JVC Wondermega was announced in the German GAMERS magazine. Must be at the time of Streets of Rage II and Sonic 2.
