Cart may not work properly with region modded system

Has this been an issue for anyone? I have a region modded Duo R. I got it from Keith Courage back in 2013. Just was curious before I finally get around to buying the Turbo Everdrive.

You should be fine with it.  I have never had issues.

I got the Everdrive for Christmas and I have had no problems with my Doujindance region modded Duo-r.

The Mega has much, much faster loading, cd ram functionality, save states, and support for larger rom files like the UMK3 hack.

Yeah, I spent the extra for the Mega ED and don't regret it at all.

I guess either option is still cheaper than buying M.U.S.H.A. I'm very bitter over that game as, I once had a chance to get it for $20 (CIB) but I was nice and let someone else buy it. That was 10+ years ago and I had no idea how expensive it would get.

 In the past 2 weeks I've finished Super Castlevania 4(thank you SD2SNES) and  100%'ed C:Rondo of Blood. C:RoB is such an amazing game.

Mega Man 2 (Beat it a long time ago)
I feel like there are some others that I can't think of right now.
Also, played a lot of Mario World with my kids in 2014, The number that it shows isn't actually a percentage but the number of exits.

I actually just placed an order for the EverDrive MD.  There wasn't enough of a difference for me to justify spending the extra 75 bucks or so for the Mega EverDrive.  Already have my folder ready to go. 

Is the only difference in the 2 save states? I might order one of these soon.

It's no help for redcat, but it should work for zombie: I bought one of these replacement cables, which is kinda pricey for just a cable but it works fine and I'm too dumb to solder in a generic cable.  Most controllers have that same internal connector, but not all, so check inside yours before ordering.

Thanks NecroPhile, I ordered one of these cables. I wished they were longer but its hard argue with plug and play.

My SD2SNES came in today, except I wasn't home and by the time I got home the Post Office was closed. So I can't get mine until Monday. I 'm very disappointed.  I'll be keeping all my carts, but I decided awhile back not to buy anymore unless I find them on the cheap at yard sales.  $167 is a lot but playing translated games on real hardware w/o having to buy repro-carts makes it worthwhile to me. I can't wait for X-mas, so I can get the TurboEverdrive. Btw, who was it that had the well arranged rom set? Can you PM me?

I saw that movie in theaters forever ago.  I was pretty bored throughout the whole thing until the ending when they spent a million dollars traveling around the US beating up people who posted shit on the internet.  At that point I decided the movie was brilliant.

For real? That movie rocked! Up there with Dude, Where's My Car if you ask me.

I too, saw the movie in theaters and thought it was great. Actually, an old couple got up and walked out after like the first 10 mins. That alone was worth the price of admission.

Personally, I think the best way to do this kind of stuff and stay friendly with the community is to have everything up on the internet for download. For example, if someone wants to package MM then they should provide links to the download, + links to a lightscribe file, and the files to print your own manual. Then they can charge whatever they want. Those who don't want to mess with it will pay, everyone else can make their own.

Update 12/12/14:

Well I had hoped to take orders before the holiday but looks like this won't happen for multiple reasons:

- I will be purchasing a 2nd 3D printer in the next few weeks which will not only be at least 2x faster, but will also give me better print quality.
- I will be on vacation starting the 23rd, so nothing will be printed till after the 6th anyway.

Once I get the new 3D printer, I'll evaluate the print of the case, make any tweaks (if needed) and start printing cases en masse, which at that time ordering details will be provided.

I've been thinking about getting a 3D printer to mess around and learn as well as teach my kids. Do you have any recommendations?

Dragon's curse is one I'm really looking forward to playing once I get my everdrive.

You'll be glad you can simply delete the ROM after you try it out and have lost $0 for the effort... but the 5 minutes you give the game, you'll never get those back.

I like backwards compatibility, when the ps2 launched I played final fantasy 9. I wished the ps4 had it because my backwards compatible ps3 crapped out. That being said, it is important to understand that the Xbox one and ps4 don't have backwards compatibility because of there architecture changes. Now that they are x86 based computer ports will be better/faster and more plentiful and going forward backwards compatibility will be easier to maintain.

Both US Turbo grafx and DUO-r systems have no issues with either a chip based region mod or a manual 8pdt region mod when using an everdrive.

Both US Duos and regular Pcengine duos require a chip based region mod to work with an everdrive.

Core grafx and PC engine systems require a chip based region mod with the wires being as short as possible.

This is the dumbest shit. Like its a known fact that Atari buried a bunch of games in a landfill. The myth was that it was only E.T. carts that were buried. The positive if you have one (I also have a 30 inch Toshiba HD-CRT) is that if you want to play Ouya, Retr0n5 or whatever emulator mini-console for retro games you have HDMI and scanlines so your games look way better.

I did recently get a retron 5 I guess I'll have to try it out on the Toshiba

Sorry to hear about this incident. I often worry about something like this happening to me. Not to make light of your problems but, I don't think I've seen a 1 letter typo change a meaning so much.

When I go pick up games, I usually come back with 50-100, take a photo, post on Facebook, most people don't realize this is expensive stuff.
Not many people that I've opened up with about prices or anything, I don't enjoy people much so I'm extremely picky with who I open up with, so that narrows it down a lot.
I don't have any kind of insurance, just renting from a new place the past several months, never thought anyone would break in and steal games, or at the very least if it did happen, I never thought they'd go for TurboGrafx, its quite the obscure, unheard of system.
Nothing has popped up yet and its been nearly a week.
With my Super Nintendo games there was an ogre battle game with a torn piece off the label, secret of mama, demons crest, earthbound, mega man x3, tons of great stuff, NES had all mega mans, castlevanias, Zelda's, dragon warriors, even an English translated final fantasy 3, Bucky o hare, just too much to list, great collection though, if I saw it in the wild I'd recognize it, thanks for all the well wishing, I hope I catch this fucking cunt and regain my passion.
