@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

What are some of the games you are looking forward to playing the most? It could be a new game or an old game you have just never owned and are planning on getting.

I have a small list:

:D....Mysterious Song Remake, Neutopia III, PC Gunjin....:D
Final Fantasy XII
Dracula X
Sapphire
Guild Wars
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
A dark tide will rise and she will walk again. He is coming.....

Keranu

Neutopia III, of course along with the other homebrew games :D .

Oh man, Oblivion is going to be the game to end all games.  Seriously I probably won't need to buy another game for at least 6 months after it comes out, I'm so f'n stoked.

Yeah, the only thing I would ask is for a better quest system....something alittle more obvious...I mean I get why they don't put a yellow arrow over the quest givers head (thats World of Warcraft just incase you didn't know) but it would be nice to have that as an option you could select/deselect....

PC Gunjin is a run-and-gunner being worked on by MindRec that's similar to Contra.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't look forward to a lot of new games. Naturally, I'm always looking forward to anything new in the PCE scene but aside from that, I'm actually looking forward to the new MK game that's coming out soon (Shaolin Monks). I have MK Deception and absolutely love the game (despite Deadly Alliance being a total failure) and of course, have all the original arcade games MAMEd. And I'm not even one of those MK freaks...it's just nice to have a little piece of video game history on the hard drive, know what I mean? :) I'm not one for MMORPGs although I did pick up Champions Of Norrath the other day...played it for a little bit but then got rather bored with it and haven't popped it in again. But what I'd really be hoping for is a new WWE Smackdown game...although that's not likely to happen since Jakks Pacific royally fucked up the contract with the WWE, screwing over THQ in the process.
Turbo Badass Rank: Janne (6 of 12 clears)
Conquered so far: Sinistron, Violent Soldier, Tatsujin, Super Raiden, Shape Shifter, Rayxanber II

The last I heard, no one had acquired a new license but people were dreading Activision getting complete control over the production of new WWE games.

I'm not cool

Paladin

I have quite a few games I'm waiting for but the ones off the top of my head are as follows:

Dragon Quest 8
Grandia 3 (though it has a way to go before a US release)
Ys 6 (on the PSP)
Legend on Heroes 4 (Again on the PSP. Actually I would ask those that have one to get this game as I want them to port 3 and 5.)
Tales of Legendia
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I'm going to be picking up Zwei. If I like Zwei then Gurumin.

Anyway those are the ones that are on the top on my list.

Why wait, you can play them on your PC with an emulator. You should also try Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX2. Much of the story plot and elements from this game were revamped into Metal Gear Solid for the PSone. It was never released outside of japan, but there is a english translated rom if you search around on google.

If you looking for a MSX emulator I highly recommend BlueMSX. If your a linux user than go for OpenMSX.

Doh, I forgot all about that one, I'm looking forward to it too, along with the US release of Metal Gear 2, that rules!  BTW, I think it's Subsistence, not substance like MGS2.

Seldane

-Linkle Liver Story for Sega Saturn (hell, I bought it a couple of months ago, but I haven't started playing it yet. I will do that ..... NOW!!)
-Neutopia III
Quote from: Seldane on 04/21/2007, 07:28 PMDVDs are for suckers. Illegally pirated and stolen videos all the way. No menus. No "DO NOT PIRATE THIS!" screens. No fuss. Only perfection. I honestly only pirate movies because that "don't pirate this" screen annoys me.

Indeed, it's AV time. Check out: IMG! Sir, the door was open.

I'm going to add Final Fantasy 3 for DS & possibly Tenchu for DS.

Dragonquest (Warrior) VIII may make me invest in a PS2 against my moral judgement...but it looks so fantastic!  of course, that would mean I finish VII...Doh!

Quake 4.
I dreamed of something going back to Quake 2 gameplay. Its finally here, and Ive been playing it alot last few days.Game totally rocks.
I get no frame drops, running at 800-600 high detail.
I can run at Ultra detail at the near same speed, but I have to shut any back ground programs down, even Bit Torrent,as they all use Harddrive bandwith I cant spare for texture loads, even with 1 gig of ram.Prob would be ok if I was using serial ata,but Im using standard ata100 7200rpm drives.
I have 2 serial ata ports, but Im not jumping on the serial ata bandwagon yet.
Incase anyone was wondering my main gaming comps specs are:
Athlon 64 754 socket 2800+ cooled by ARctic Cooling
Radeon 9700 Pro cooled by Cooler Master heatpipe and fan combo cooler.
1 gig DDR ram
1 80 gig and 1 60 gig hd.
1 Hotswap drive that is a 20 gig Maxtor ata 100.
Promise ata 66 pci card with cd/dvd drives/burner hooked up to it.
Sound Blaster Live card. Not the newer one at Walmart,I use the older more solid one.
Mother board is a AN51R by Shuttle. Uses the NForce 3 250 chipset.Great overclocker abilities.
Im stacked with case fans and a dual fan 550 watt power supply.
I have yet to run into a game I cant run at high detail.
Before you ask,why dont you run Quake 4 or any other given game at 1024-768,I dont because I hate flicker refresh.I can do a refresh rate of 120 fine on my monitor at 800-600,but at 1024-768 it gets stuck at 60 on any given game for some odd reason.Prob a ATI driver problem.Minor gripe.Ill settle for slight les res to avoid screen flicker.
What kind of computer specs are you guys using to run games btw?
I have a older Pentium 3 I use alot too,on a Asus P2B-F slot 1 with a Voodoo 5500 and SoundBlaster PCI 512.Its a great set-up too for older Glide optimized gaming.
