If you do trade with him, hes very impatient and make sure you give him a tracking number otherwise he'll bitch to high heaven about it. I said it once and I'll say it again, I won't do trades, raffles, or any purchases with people who have been here less than 6 months or that have less than 150 posts and they can't all be in the trades or fighting street section.
In fact, when I do get my complete Parasol Stars I will post the exact requirements above for when I raffle the loosey.

I'm not surprised to see it used so cheaply on ebay auctions by sellers who have no idea what they are doing, but here there should be a certain level of comradery maintained, that goes without saying, and its not cool at all to just flat out lie to people here for personal gain, and that IS what Fenix was doing.

Hey, I wasn't defending his definition of "rare" at all. I agree that he absolutely mis-worded that. I just thought it was ironic that you told me not to post as I did in your sales thread, but you posted your opinion in his. Nothing more or less.

I'm not sure of the one deal that he did that annoyed someone(or someones), and am therefore not aware 100% of the situation, but I'm sure if he was gouging earlier, lying about things, BSing and doing stupid things in sales, then yeah, he does have it coming. Don't add my name is claiming that Time Stalkers and MMLegends2 is rare, though. I made no such claim. I generally never put rare on an item I am selling even if it is rare. If it's a truly rare item, serious buyers know it and there's no need to use that stupid eBay lingo that we see around.

First off, the deal was finally completed which I'm thankful for, but if you really read, he lied from day one.

All you have to do is go to USPS.com and see when he truly sent my end.

He said his wife sent it, then it takes a long time to get something because he "lives in the sticks", didn't have a DC# (but theres one on the box)....

If he truly sent the day he said or the day after, there is no way it should have taken this long to get to me.

I understand not everyone ships as fast as I do it but you shouldn't just lie to me from day one.

So he stated shipping then took place on July 23rd. Whether it actually did or not is not my concern at this moment, because multiple times he issued a apology and offered to make good on the issue anyway. The main thing is, besides your over all shity attitude and threatening him with mods, you stated on the thread I linked to above that it took 3 weeks/21 days for his package to arrive to you. USPS tracking shows a delivery time of :
Priority Mail®Delivered August 06, 2012, 9:46 am

14 days for delivery from when he stated it was shipped. Two were Sundays which cant even count in shipping/transit time, so you are looking at 12 business days if you want to stretch it to include Saturdays. Either way it is a far cry from 3 weeks/21 days, so you FLAT OUT LIED about how long it took on the other thread.

Another thing, and this is coming from 10 years of experience both outside of and on ebay sales, as a power seller/trusted seller, that ink stamps on packages mean nothing. As far as I can tell the guy stamped the package with normal postal stamps and left enough to cover some shipping and delivery confirm and dropped it in a drop slot. He clearly didn't pay for postage at the front desk, because he used stamps.

The ink stamping means nothing, and does not in any way confirm a actual acceptance date. It only confirms to someone when a postal worker finally decided to pick the package up, stamp it for processing and sorting and finally send it on its way to a sorting hub. I don't even see enough on the package to cover both delivery confirm and Priority Mail as it is, so it should have been handled as First Class mail, not Priority Mail. It sounds like a postal worker screw up, that they sat on it after it was dropped off before they finally decided to mess with it. If anything I would say the biggest mistake made is insurance was not purchased.

And to address the whole stamping thing itself, I pay for shipping online for most everything I ship. Many times that I had dropped packages off to USPS directly at the drop off door, packages would not be scanned in for few quite a few days until they finally hit the first sorting hub in Little Rock, if at all. Many times they would not show a acceptance scan of any type until the package finally showed up at the destination states sorting hub.  Delivery confirmation is not even considered "active" tracking BY USPS themselves, unless purchased with EXPRESS MAIL. Now I have all packages picked up at my home via USPS, and I save all package pick up request and acceptance emails they send me for proof of actual shipping out time, because delivery confirmation does not always tell a accurate account of the packages shipping history.

So basically in the end, the "ink stamps" you keep referring to as your proof don't prove anything, and the tracking definitely DOES NOT confirm a 3 week shipping period that you FLAT OUT LIED ABOUT.

The tracking number you said DIDN'T exist was CLEARLY plastered to the front of the box, and after checking the tracking code it shows that it was sent Priority 3 days ago!

I would understand if you had wanted to wait for my end to show up first before you sent my stuff just to be sure I (a new guy on the site) wouldn't be ripping you off. But if that was the case you should have at least told me you would be doing that. Instead of carrying a lie for over a week only for it to be revealed when you finally did send my package and I would see all the evidence on the front of the box!

I don't know why you would do this, I would really like to know why? I'm trying not to be angry, because I did after all receive my games, but I am very upset with what you did and I really hope you don't do it again to some other members on here because its just flat out wrong and its definitely not a good feeling to be on the other end of something like this.

He also thinks that were you live, and the quality of the postal system has no bearing on the issue either. His reasoning is that overseas shipping takes longer, therefore domestic should be quicker. I have family in OR. I buy cheap shit on ebay from hong kong all the time. I can tell you without a doubt I have recieved items from Hong kong faster than stuff has made it to me from my sister in North Bend OR. Penix does not know this, because he does not live there. If anything it looks like he was trying to reassure you all was well, while trying to figure out why the package was late. A postal error seems to be whats wrong here. The package was indeed late, but not nearly as late as you made it out to be making you a lair. The reality is, if you had apologized and accepted it was a misunderstanding you would not even be in this situation. We had a little problem but it wasent that big of a deal, I mean I didn't say anything negative on here about the trade to anyone until I was provoked to. So then I post a thread saying rare games whatever. That doesn't mean that all the games are rare, if you took it that I can understand my mistake.. But if you didn't agree with something isn't that what the pm's for? Instead of trying to start stuff, and dogging someone's stuff you could have just pm'd me and would have re-worded the title. But professor would rather make an ass of him self and screw peoples posts up, spamming the hell out of them just to do it. It was unprofessional.. I even pm'd him to cool it between us, and he posted the pm with more crap, instead of talking it out? So I turn into the bad guy? Yes I posted bigusmuck's personal info, but you gave me no choice. Why would you trash talk me? Just because professor did? Do I locked the post, why to end it and just move on. So I started a new trade post and who jumps on it first? Some people on forums are chilled out, and some aren't. Everyone has their reasons and you or I don't know those reasons. I find the best thing is to just roll with the punches, not take things personally and remember that this is just a hobby forum that isn't really worth getting emotional over. Considering I had to have a mod edit the post instead of Fenix deleting it just irritates me that much more. I'm going to drop this for now, but as others have stated, this isn't a retro pawn shop. There is an active community here that loves to discuss things retro/pce/turbo related and should be treated as such while sells and trades are an afterthought. You don't have to be a genius to see that no one here likes Ebay pricing (hell there is even a Ebay gouging thread and a f*Ebay club) and to even mention that's what things are going for in your sales thread is going to produce quite a backlash as you have witnessed. If you recall, I even warned you about doing this and you took it the wrong way as a personal attack and started this crazy flame war that probably could have been avoided if you just looked around on the forums and read what other people were posting. I do hope you learn from this experience and not to be too quick to judge in the near future. Be thankful that the mods didn't ban you for posting personal information on a public forum.

The game shark for the advance is also hard to find, as well as mega man x collection, and so are the pikmin games complete, and the pocket Pokemon. The dreamcast games are not that rare. I did that with Military Madness once!  Watched a few go for 40-50$ loose.  Bought one for 11.95$ loose shortly after.     I'd like the case/manual, but, eh.  whatever.

Even the high-end priced games, I have sanity limits on and only get if I really like the game or am after the entire set of something.   I remember being called an idiot for passing on Zak McKraken for half what the going rate was.  I hate that game.  200$ for a game I'd like to set on fire seems dumb to buy just for bragging rights.

mhmm, walked out of a store last night passing on 3 of the shin megami tensei games on ps2.
they wanted $30-35 a piece for them, I then went home and ordered them new off amazon for $20 a pop.

So he stated shipping then took place on July 23rd. Whether it actually did or not is not my concern at this moment, because multiple times he issued a apology and offered to make good on the issue anyway. The main thing is, besides your over all shity attitude and threatening him with mods, you stated on the thread I linked to above that it took 3 weeks/21 days for his package to arrive to you. USPS tracking shows a delivery time of :
Priority Mail®Delivered August 06, 2012, 9:46 am

14 days for delivery from when he stated it was shipped. Two were Sundays which cant even count in shipping/transit time, so you are looking at 12 business days if you want to stretch it to include Saturdays. Either way it is a far cry from 3 weeks/21 days, so you FLAT OUT LIED about how long it took on the other thread.

Another thing, and this is coming from 10 years of experience both outside of and on ebay sales, as a power seller/trusted seller, that ink stamps on packages mean nothing. As far as I can tell the guy stamped the package with normal postal stamps and left enough to cover some shipping and delivery confirm and dropped it in a drop slot. He clearly didn't pay for postage at the front desk, because he used stamps.

The ink stamping means nothing, and does not in any way confirm a actual acceptance date. It only confirms to someone when a postal worker finally decided to pick the package up, stamp it for processing and sorting and finally send it on its way to a sorting hub. I don't even see enough on the package to cover both delivery confirm and Priority Mail as it is, so it should have been handled as First Class mail, not Priority Mail. It sounds like a postal worker screw up, that they sat on it after it was dropped off before they finally decided to mess with it. If anything I would say the biggest mistake made is insurance was not purchased.

And to address the whole stamping thing itself, I pay for shipping online for most everything I ship. Many times that I had dropped packages off to USPS directly at the drop off door, packages would not be scanned in for few quite a few days until they finally hit the first sorting hub in Little Rock, if at all. Many times they would not show a acceptance scan of any type until the package finally showed up at the destination states sorting hub.  Delivery confirmation is not even considered "active" tracking BY USPS themselves, unless purchased with EXPRESS MAIL. Now I have all packages picked up at my home via USPS, and I save all package pick up request and acceptance emails they send me for proof of actual shipping out time, because delivery confirmation does not always tell a accurate account of the packages shipping history.

So basically in the end, the "ink stamps" you keep referring to as your proof don't prove anything, and the tracking definitely DOES NOT confirm a 3 week shipping period that you FLAT OUT LIED ABOUT.

Instead of carrying a lie for over a week only for it to be revealed when you finally did send my package and I would see all the evidence on the front of the box!

I don't know why you would do this, I would really like to know why? I'm trying not to be angry, because I did after all receive my games, but I am very upset with what you did and I really hope you don't do it again to some other members on here because its just flat out wrong and its definitely not a good feeling to be on the other end of something like this.

That ended our friendship for a few years but he later apologized and I accepted it. Later on I gave him a script extraction for Startling Odyssey II which he eventually translated with software and released a patch. So that ended on a not-so-negative note and even a loser like you got yet another free patch if you were interested.

Years later another incident occurred: PCE Works/Tobias factory-pressed real CDs of Xak III for sale, he'd later apologize after being confronted and offer a settlement which I eventually accepted as well.

The worst case involving my projects would be the disgraced XSEED Games which cheats its own internal workers, but I've already discussed that (see: boycott link below)...
