Your being dogged because your accusing Bigs of being a lier and the posts don't support your claim. If anything it looks like he was trying to reassure you all was well, while trying to figure out why the package was late. A postal error seems to be whats wrong here. Your lack of patience to accept anything other than he clearly must have been trying to screw you over, is why everybody is kicking your ass right now. The package was indeed late, but not nearly as late as you made it out to be making you a lair. The reality is, if you had apologized and accepted it was a misunderstanding you would not even be in this situation. Bigs cannot help what the post office does with his packages after he drops them off.  The reason the professor is cautioning everyone who might deal with you, is what happens if the post office loses another package? Are you gonna go off the handle to the next person? Tell them they are lying pieces of shit to? No one wants to be treated that way. Learn some humility, accept the misunderstanding, apologize for your behavior and all will be forgiven. We are afterall, a really damn good community despite our occasional differences.

That was basically the worst thing you could do (I guess I just breezed by it last night/this morning when I cruised the forums here). I mean, I'd rather get ripped off on a deal than have that happen. That's how big of thing it is. And yes, I realize you were trolled into it. That doesn't matter, though. Pissing all over someone's sales thread is annoying and rude, but posting personal info like that is a HUGE breach of trust. I'm pretty easy going, but even I'd have trouble wanting to deal with anyone who might post my info like that. Hopefully you apologize for that one and learn from that mistake, whether you ever decide to hang around here again or not.

First, I got on this site because I like turbografx.. So it's a good place to trade an meet others who play it. I made 2 trades and everyone was cool including bigusmuck. We had a little problem but it wasent that big of a deal, I mean I didn't say anything negative on here about the trade to anyone until I was provoked to. So then I post a thread saying rare games whatever. That doesn't mean that all the games are rare, if you took it that I can understand my mistake.. But if you didn't agree with something isn't that what the pm's for? Instead of trying to start stuff, and dogging someone's stuff you could have just pm'd me and would have re-worded the title. But professor would rather make an ass of him self and screw peoples posts up, spamming the hell out of them just to do it. It was unprofessional.. I even pm'd him to cool it between us, and he posted the pm with more crap, instead of talking it out? So I turn into the bad guy? Yes I posted bigusmuck's personal info, but you gave me no choice. Why would you trash talk me? Just because professor did? Do I locked the post, why to end it and just move on. So I started a new trade post and who jumps on it first? Professor with a trade with caution and a quote from bigusmuck?? So I said I would post my evidence, and professor pushed it on and on. Well I Apoligize but only to bigusmuck! I could have done that differantly.. My last point.. Everyone who just jumped at me, like I was some problem on here? I feel like one of the few here who thinks I get where you're coming from. Anyway, I will say this if for whatever it's worth:
Some people on forums are chilled out, and some aren't. Everyone has their reasons and you or I don't know those reasons. I find the best thing is to just roll with the punches, not take things personally and remember that this is just a hobby forum that isn't really worth getting emotional over. Some people like to test people out and see how much they can take. Good or bad, don't let it get to you. If you let those things get to you, that's when you start posting stupid things and crossing the line yourself. If you want to hang out on this site, or others that are known for nailing people when they leave themselves open, make sure you research the place well and are able to take flaming criticism. Stuff that people can't say on some places is fair game here. Either be able roll with it, or you're going to have a hard time and look like a fool in the process.

You referred to this site as a sales/trade site. Multiple times now you have been told that is not the purpose of the site. This place is not your personal flea market or trading grounds to up your TG collection. Many people have come here under the same assumption, and they have all been sent packing.

You should focus on doing a lot more here then just wheeling and dealing, and that goes for any forum you join. Try to integrate yourself more into the community via normal post and normal threads or something. The sales stuff should be secondary for you, not your priority or goal to be here, and when you do list stuff for sale, don't exaggerate value or rarity. People are not stupid, they do have the ability to check into things and will call you out for bullshit.

There is an active community here that loves to discuss things retro/pce/turbo related and should be treated as such while sells and trades are an afterthought. You don't have to be a genius to see that no one here likes Ebay pricing (hell there is even a Ebay gouging thread and a f*Ebay club) and to even mention that's what things are going for in your sales thread is going to produce quite a backlash as you have witnessed. If you recall, I even warned you about doing this and you took it the wrong way as a personal attack and started this crazy flame war that probably could have been avoided if you just looked around on the forums and read what other people were posting. I do hope you learn from this experience and not to be too quick to judge in the near future. Be thankful that the mods didn't ban you for posting personal information on a public forum.

First off I never said he ripped me off? I was saying you never know if someone is ripping you off, and as for lying about rarity? Mega man legends 2 is rare, they have sold as high as 80, 70's and even a loose disk sold for 44! The game shark for the advance is also hard to find, as well as mega man x collection, and so are the pikmin games complete, and the pocket Pokemon. The dreamcast games are not that rare. But it is what it is.. And a simple pm could have been nice, I would have explained that. And yes I use this as a trade site, and yes I'm trying to build my collection, WHO ISN'T? But anyway there was never any harm ment. And yes I know you guys know what's rare and what's not, do I was sure you understood the post.. But again mistakes can be made on headers of posts. But you should be a professional about it.

The sales stuff should be secondary for you, not your priority or goal to be here, and when you do list stuff for sale, don't exaggerate value or rarity. People are not stupid, they do have the ability to check into things and will call you out for bullshit.

First off I never said he ripped me off? I was saying you never know if someone is ripping you off, and as for lying about rarity? Mega man legends 2 is rare, they have sold as high as 80, 70's and even a loose disk sold for 44! The game shark for the advance is also hard to find, as well as mega man x collection, and so are the pikmin games complete, and the pocket Pokemon. The dreamcast games are not that rare. But it is what it is.. And a simple pm could have been nice, I would have explained that. And yes I use this as a trade site, and yes I'm trying to build my collection, WHO ISN'T? But anyway there was never any harm ment. And yes I know you guys know what's rare and what's not, do I was sure you understood the post.. But again mistakes can be made on headers of posts. Just because the asking price is 50 bucks doesn't mean its rare, it just means the asking price is 50 bucks. Seeing so many listed on ebay, clearly there seems to be enough to go around for anyone who is currently wanting one. If there wasn't then there wouldn't be so many listed for sale. You also stated RARE GAMES, not game, and insisted multiple times that your stuff was rare, when it is not. Its good and all for you to apologize to Bigus about the address thing, but lets face it, you also jumped to conclusions, accused him of ripping you off, and LIED about him publicly. If you're going to apologize, do it for all of it, not just the address posting. And no one, and I mean NO ONE, forced you to post his address. Being persistent doesn't make you right, and I checked completed auctions, that's how I know about the whole 80 dollar farce you concocted. If you know what your games supposedly sell for, why haven't they sold yet? Why are they not "flying of the shelves" per say?
