It's not worth the idiotic amount of trouble it'd take.

I use PC-FX + SVIDEO through an upscaler and it looks fuckin' good.

There's literally no reason to bother unless you just want to be one of those gimps with a PVM with bad geometry that posts pics on Facebook going OMFG

PC-FX outputs S-Video, and it looks good.   

I don't see any reason to bother with anything else.  Just buy a 10$ SVideo/Stereo Audio combo cable from gaydio shack, and never look back.

Your S-Video looks a lot better than mine, I probably need to adjust some settings on my monitor to get it closer to what the rgb input looks like.

If it is related it would make sense since the ifu-30 doesn't have a region mod obviously. The duo was a system I sent out to have the work done, is there a way I can fix this easily and still have a functioning region switch?

[Console Repair/Mod Center / Turbo Duo RGB video interference issue]

I have a Turbo Duo that's been region and rgb modded, and everything seems to work well except I am getting wavy diagonal lines of interference on the screen. Need some advice on what the cause of the issue may be and any suggestions for how to resolve it. Here's what I have tried:

viletim's Jailbar fix - Cleared up jailbars but did nothing for this.
Replacement AC Adapter - Using an Enercell universal adapter that I have for my IFU-30, but with a proper tip for Turbo Duo. Unfortunately it did not fix the issue either. There was no improvement from what I saw compared to the stock AC Adapter.

As a comparison here are screenshots of my RGB Modded IFU-30, using same amp (same circuit and parts) and the exact same RGB cable and AC adapter:



Any help is definitely appreciated, I've been looking for a solution to this for a few years now...

Sorry about the not so great quality pics, I took these in the car with my wife's phone (while she drove and made fun of me).The card itself looks really good considering they were made by hand IIRC. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I'm pretty excited already! Thanks Arkhan and TheOldMan for putting these together!

Ok, so here are pictures of the two systems. RGB Output is using the same cable, on the same display, a Sony PVM Monitor. Both were tested using PC Genjin 2.

Here is the PC Engine:



And this is the Turbo Duo:



As you can see there is hardly any difference, both systems have a great picture, but the Duo does have the more noticeable vertical lines. It probably sounds like I'm being extremely anal about this, its just that I would like to use the Duo as my everyday system but if the PC Engine has the better picture I'll just stick with that one.

I stayed up late last night playing over and over to get a higher score, so here is mine:

Also I just want to say I'm actually pretty impressed with the PC-FX so far, I like the polished 2d sprites and the video quality is good. For the games I've tried, there hasnt been much loading time especially transitioning from video to gameplay. There was some potential there, even if not as graphically impressive as the playstation or saturn.
