Lowered expectations... I lowered some prices to move some items. Ebay takes too long, and not many people seem to use Game Gavel.

Quote from: bartre on 05/31/2013, 09:51 PMfor the record, i can't recommend this guy.
bought a copy of Ys I & II a while back, and he shipped it to me wrapped in brown paper and labeled.
as in, no packing material whatsoever.

TL;DR
any saturn games ordered from this guy will probably be destroyed in shipment
My Saturn games are pristine. I don't think any even have broken hinges. Try again.
He is referring to your packing methods. The way you packed the last game he got off you, its likely if you use the same process the game case will be destroyed and the disc damaged since the US Saturn titles cases don't hold up well to abuse. Unless you plan to buy small boxes for the things and ship them right you need to flat out tell people you plan to skimp on packing on these like you did last time.
Why would it be the same process for those flimsy, easily cracked Saturn games that are in pristine condition? Just because I wrapped Ys like that, doesn't mean I wrap everything like that. SMH

Quote from: PCEngineHell on 03/13/2013, 08:59 PMThe problem is obviously not that he had completed some transactions to satisfaction, because he obviously did, as posted in the other thread, but rather how he handled others, along with his general attitude when confronted about said issues.
I wasn't confronted with any issues. Only one person really brought up the packaging way after the fact. The other stuff about people trying to make deals but waiting 2-3 days to get back to me, I don't apologize over that stuff. First come, first served.

Quote from: SegaSaturn51195 on 03/14/2013, 03:20 PMAll I can say is that everyone that bought a game from me was happy and the games arrived in good shape for good prices. That whole thread was sarcastic and joking in nature. If anyone had any problems I would take care of it/refund right away.

As a special, I'll sell those 6 games for a greatly reduced price (the Turbotap too) and the person that buys it can write if they're happy with the quality or not.

If not, I'll just put them on Ebay or something another time, it's no big deal.
Thanks for this offer!  This is a pretty good deal.  If I didn't already have all of these games, then I'd snap it up.
No problem. I've done good business with many people here and I'm never against giving a great deal and have that person post their comments on it.

Quote from: SegaSaturn51195 on 03/13/2013, 05:17 PMIt's the same 2 or 3 people here that think they own the place and have a groupthink mentality. Cross them, say something they don't agree with, question them, and they'll do everything they can to make you look bad. Unfortunately, it never works. But it's quite amusing.
On the outside it may appear that way, however I'm far from being on the in crowd around this place nor is anyone jumping in line to agree with me.

I do recall reading your last sales thread and people may not have been actively complaining or outright asking for a refund.  They were however saying that your packing was shit, basically risking their purchases.  You weren't apologetic, nor did you try to understand where they were coming from and took a cocky attitude.  As a seller, you may get the games from point A to B but your prickish attitude and your shitty packaging makes you a risk to buyers here.  Feel free to respond in your typical dickish manor.
Completely wrong. Only one person really mentioned the packaging (their game arrived fine) after that thread went on and on and on. Then I posted sarcastic remarks and the 'inner group' ate it all up, predictably. Then another person jumped in and said the same thing, completely lying just so they could make me look bad. That's how the group operates. 2 or 3 people banding together to make someone outside the group look bad. Most people see right through it, and I sold every item I had or sale within a week or two. Those people were completely satisfied, and if they weren't, I would have refunded their money no questions asked.

Again, if anyone buys from me through Paypal and they're upset with the purchase, by all means contact me and I'll refund your money. Even if I would be stupid enough to try to rip someone off, ship with no padding which resulted in broken or damaged items, or misrepresented the quality of the items, all a buyer would have to do is open a Paypal case and they would get their money back.

Quote from: SegaSaturn51195 on 03/13/2013, 04:59 PMbunch of crap when everyone I've sold to has been 100% satisfied.
Except the one quote above (and others stating similar)...hardly 100%.
Which quote above? Where the guy I sold Ys I & II to said that I didn't ship with enough padding? He didn't say anything until that thread kept going and going and then only casually mentioned it wasn't packed as well as he'd hoped, but it arrived fine. The fact is that every person I sold a game or accessory to has been pleased with the quality/transaction and there have been absolutely no issues. And if there were issues, I would refund the money back immediately.

It's the same 2 or 3 people here that think they own the place and have a groupthink mentality. Cross them, say something they don't agree with, question them, and they'll do everything they can to make you look bad. Unfortunately, it never works. But it's quite amusing.

Quote from: RoyVegas on 03/13/2013, 04:32 PMIf you want any of this guys games and don't want the risk of dealing with his bullshit  [-X, check my sales thread and if I have it, I'll sell you it cheaper. Thanks!
No. I'll sell it to them cheaper. And deal with what crap? I have 100% positive feedback.
#32
Oh please. I sell here, on Ebay (100% feedback), Game Gavel, anywhere. Don't hijack my thread with a bunch of crap because you're part of the 'inner circle' when everyone I've sold to has been 100% satisfied. You're picking and choosing from that hilarious thread to make it look like I'm a bad seller, which is completely inaccurate. Creative fact bending of course, but also completely inaccurate.

Anyone who buys a game from me (and pays via Paypal, which has their own safeguards for buyers) and is not 100% satisfied with the quality or feels I misrepresented the condition can always get their money back no questions asked.

QuoteBut I may be interested in that super stick as it looks pretty super to me.
The stick is nice, tested and works, and is in the box. I found it great for R-Type. $30 includes shipping.

Quote from: Bernie on 01/01/2013, 06:34 PMYou talking about in the very first part of the game?  Above ground section?  You get to it by going up to the far right section of the map, then coming down.  You will need the fire wand though.  That's in the far east of the map.
Yes, I just got passed the first dungeon and couldn't figure out how to get to the 2nd dungeon. I have the fire wand. I'll try again tonight. Thanks.

If Professor is suggesting it, you know it's a bad idea. I think a good policy is to do the opposite of what he suggests.

Quote from: SegaSaturn51195 on 12/09/2012, 06:21 PMYes, you should know what you're getting into... fair prices and games that are in like new condition, and someone who puts the Turbo police in their place. :)

My sales on here have been a complete success. Thanks everyone!
You put no one in their place. You're just a little cunt noob brat with no conviction and plenty of paper to pack with, who yet again came along to lie, double talk, double deal, and leech off of another forum's cash flow during the holidays. Last I heard, no one was laughing with you, they were ALL laughing at you. There is a difference. You have no friends here. People are just using you to get your stuff in much the same way you planned to leech cash off of them. People like you come around all the time to unload their "much loved and highly valued" collections they got last month. The problem for you is, where people like you come in hoping to exploit, people around here have already had their fill of your type, and learned how to manipulate your wanton greed and lust to make money back on your little rarity guide "investments".

And when its all said and done and people get what they want from you here, and you serve no further purpose, the forum will be done with you and toss you aside. No friends, no one replying to your random post in chit chat, nuthin. Eventually you will end up some topic for luls in the fighting street section, where someone eventually behind the scenes will end up passing your mailing address around, and people will sign you and your family up for gay porn mags and the such for moar lulz. Eventually, dissatisfied with how things played out, and realizing how much suck it actually is to have all those Master system games you have no desire to play, like Rocky and Rambo, you will rinse and repeat this same process over on a Sega forum, where again, moar people will chew you up and spit you out.

And on a final note, you got lucky the poorly packages stuff did not get damaged, and regardless of your ability to somehow manage to complete a few sales successfully, your over all attitude and lack of convictions concerning business is what makes you someone people should be weary of dealing with. You are not a good seller, just a leech. That was made crystal clear.
Professor, you sure write a lot about me. It looks like you got owned as well. I love it!

I call bullsh!t.
the copy of ys i bought was far from that.
the only reason i didn't bitch about it was because all i wanted was the manual.
There's nothing worse than a cheapskate who still complains lol. You remind me of this 65 year old man I know won't spend two dollars because he thinks he's getting ripped off. :-)

I wouldn't sell to you if you offered me $300 for Cadash. :-)

Quote from: Keith Courage on 12/05/2012, 10:20 PMyeah, I've always heard that it was a lowsy game. I just really wanted it for my collection.

I still can't see the game being any worse than falcon or gunboat but I'll know soon enough.
Id honestly play gunboat or falcon before Turrican.   At least with those games, I can pretend I am in an airplane or a gunboat and make sound effects and roll around.

All I can do in Turrican is wonder why people think its a good game.
Turrican was a moderate hit and well reviewed for Genesis. It came in one of those cardboard Accolade cases (like Hardball). I don't remember much about it though and I don't think I ever played the Turbo version despite owning it for awhile.

I sold a game to Evan Labit on here. Why are people giving me such a hard time, I would never sell TV Sports Football for $70. Ha. Ah, it was a joke.

Quote from: hizaygizirlz on 12/04/2012, 04:02 AMWe'll do we for sure know that Canada was from Canada.

A few other things not listed are strikingly similar as well.

I mean what are the chances of two people who act pratically the exact same way, both of which want Bruce Willis as their avatar, and both of which choose the exact same picture on a pcengine site.

Like I could see two people on this site accidental using the same Bonk/Zonk/Guy Kazama picture, but two people both picking BW and using the exact same photo all while having the same personality, seems unlikely.

And we do know of many instances of people who get banned having 2-3-4 more incarnations for some strange reason.
There aren't many actors to choose from in the avatar list. Bruce Willis is by far the best choice.

Panic much?
Cadash isn't my prized game. But it's still worth around $50.

Quote from: hizaygizirlz on 12/04/2012, 03:35 AMI have a theory that Sega = Canada/Swiss.

1) Exact same avatar picture.
2) Both have similar sigs
3) Both have had complaints with packaging (unapologetically)
4) Both have had issues w/ pricing Cadash
5) Canada was looking to move a lot of games
6) Mixing it up w/ the same people in particular
7) Name was created shortly after Swiss was banned (Aug) but first post was November
