Out in Culver City here.  Would love to meet up if the timing worked out, but that's pretty tricky these days.  Between work and familial obligations (3 year old at home), about the only spare moments I have are after 10pm when everyone else is off to bed.

Wow, nice raffle!  Don't sign me up though.

I'm still holding onto hope that my missing Lords disc will show up.  I have the case, but no disc.=P

Unfortunately I don't have the game to sell, but I do remember it quite fondly from back in the day. Only way I could beat it was by using the invincibility trick though.  Good luck with your search!

I've got a massive collection of dead compact fluorescent lights and batteries, two obsolete laptops (Pentium II 266 MHz and Pentium M) and two desktops (Celeron and a Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz) and four cellphones (w/chargers) that I've amassed over the years but haven't gotten around to recycling.

Willing to trade for Necromancer's stack of Playboys.  Need to replace the stack my g/f now wife made me dump so many years ago.=P

Relatively new member here, but please sign me up if that's okay!  Heard lots of great things about this game.  Thanks!

Grrrrr...  I owned both this and Dracula X back in the day.  I loaned them both to a friend with whom I eventually lost contact before getting my games back.=(  I do have his copy of Total Eclipse for the 3DO though.  HA!

I remember this game only being so-so as well.  But play a little bit of the original Famicom Macross game before playing 2036, and 2036  will look pretty sweet.

Never played the first two, but my friend had #3 which I borrowed and loved.  Music, graphics and controls were great from what I can remember.  I also remember it being way too easy.  Of course, that was about 20 years ago.

Not sure which character it is. Guessing blackarachnia?
That's pretty sweet.  Definitely looks inspired by Blackarachnia, my 3-year-old's personal favorite. (She likes her boots and her purple coloring.)

The show came out when I was in the third grade.  Transformers, GI*Joe and Robotech are my three faves.

I'm already indoctrinating my 3 year old daughter for a lifelong love of transformers.  Not sure if she'll be into G1 though.  The storybooks I read her are derived from the live action movies and Transformers: Animated.

It is??  I had no idea.  Thanks for the heads up!

I agree 100% with everything esteban said about Veigues.  The controls are kinda clunky, but it's completely fitting because you're controlling a huge friggin' mecha with armor and weaponry out the wazoo.  I'm thinking people disappointed with the controls were hoping for something more along the lines of Gundam-style mecha.  But take a look at the tactical gladiator.  It obviously wasn't meant to dance around the enemies with a lot of finesse.  It's clunky and meant to take a beating.

The one thing that I would agree is truly horrendous about the game is the U.S. market box art.  No idea why they couldn't use the original Japanese art:

Greetings!  First time poster here.

I can't remember if my first exposure to the TG-16 was the commercials or one of the gaming mags.  All I remember is seeing the super colorful graphics in Bonk and I was sold.

Although I used to get into frequent fanboy debates back in the day on the Prodigy Network (pre-internet as we know it) as to why the TurboGrafx was superior in every way to the Genesis, I'm really fan of pretty much all video games.  Growing up, I was fortunate enough (thanks, Mom & Dad!) to have been able to own multiple competing systems from each generation--NES, SMS, TG16, GameBoy, TurboExpress, Lynx, SNES, Genesis/Sega CD, Neo Geo, 3DO, N64, PlayStation, PS2, GameCube, GBA, Wii, PS3, XBox 360.  However, to this day, the Turbo remains my favorite system, with the most fond memories.

I couldn't get enough multiplayer matches of Bomberman '93, Dungeon Explorer, Battle Royale and even MotoRoader.  And the day I brought home a Turbo CD and powered up Ys Book I & II...being wowed by the CD-audio and animation of the game's intro may be my number one fondest video game memory.

I was such a turbo fan(atic) that even though I already had a TurboGrafx w/ CD, I traded my Neo Geo with its small collection of games for a TurboDuo.
