Hi James !
Have you news about how to replacing laser lens ?
I don't know if I have the same problem, but without original games disk I can't try the unit I ve got from Japan... I'm trying to using backup at moments but I've sometimes different reading problems...
I'm trying with different modes of writing backup (using different CD type at low speed) but differents result any time...
It's strange... Because the unit runs perfectly with CD Audio .....
