Is this guy so full of money to have bought all the systems he's collecting ? I remember seeing one video of a tour of his collection. It was impressive.
Underrated systems in my book are Gamecube for sure, Dreamcast and Nomad

I hope his dog still likes this Tobias guy, although it's unlikely.

Of course. Good habit.
Just like test-sniffing your socks and underpants.

My wife is a Columns enthusiast. (no pun intended)

I like lukemorse, especially his repair vids, but I wouldn't describe him as the epitome of coolness. A while back his wife and kids left him because of his outrageous videogame hoard. He quit for a while, I'm surprised he's back
Thought something like that had happened to him. Not cool, for sure.
Sorry I didn't get the joke, BTW. Hard for a newcomer to understand the lingo here.
Me not spaek it good yet

Not correct epitome means 'perfect example'
Antithesis means just the opposite.
Sorry to teach you your own language

MJesus said in one of his vids that he worked at Sierra as a game tester if I recall correctly.
But it's the only one I watched because I find him both visually and orally repulsive.

A guy I really like a lot is lukemorse, cause he lives in Japan (home country of my wife) and really knows how to fix old systems. He also makes vids of his bike ramblings in Tokyo and tests weird Japanese foods and drinks. Check him out, he's the epitome of coolness

I prefer the books.

There's AIII,a sort of SIM City for trains. Very complicated.

Not seen mention of Alshark either, very good Rpg

Another one called Babel, a bit shallow.

Try Brandish, too. A mix of rpg and lots of other things
A dungeon rpg could be the best description

To finish Megami Tengoku, clearly aimed at otakus who like seeing girls change their clothes (do they like anything else, really ?) But it's well-made and the story is okay

Anyone ? You don't need 1 million posts at least ?
Would you be so kind as to sign me up, pretty please ? :D

I don't want to scratch anything so I never play.
I sit in front of my imaginary tv, pushing invisible buttons.
My wife somtimes wipe the yellow goo oozing from my mouth.
My kids often play a game of darts on the target they have drawn on my back.
And my dog growls when I stand up

One more teacher here.

Been working in the same school with aggressive morons for too many years.

I suppose that's why I like beat'm'ups and shmups so much. Hope I'll get a transfer to a

civilized area soon...

Hi, welcome
Hope you find your stay here enjoyable. I'm a newcomer as well, and I really enjoy discovering
the games available for the system.
As games are really expensive, I'll try to get them one at a time

Isn't that game a beat'em up ? I also have a soft spot for them.
Can you give an opinion on it once you've played it ? Thx  :)

TG Pal I got 2 years ago, when they were re-discovered in some german warehouse  :P

Thanks for the welcome, guys !  :P

@ esteban : I bought these games because most are horizontal shooters, and I have played mainly vertical ones so far,

like the Soldier series, Image fight or Twin Cobra.

I must say I'm not good at playing video games in general, but they've always been a source of good fun, especially those

pc engine shooters, which can be really tough.

@ wildfruit : your french is good, sir ! I haven't got many games, something like 40 or so. Mostly shooters, but also Ninja Spirit,

Alien Crush, Bonk's Adventure, Son son 2..

If you have any recommendations, I'd be more than happy to hear them. Systems I've got are Duo-R, Coregrafx and TurboGrafx Pal.

Hi to you all !
Very happy to have found this forum, because I have been a pc engine player for
not very long.

I live in the south of france. Been a teacher there for 25 years.

I love old consoles and old games, too, perhaps because I'm not really young anymore

Hope to learn lots of things about pc engine games and machines

See ya !
