What is the absolute, dumbest, stupidest, most ridiculous game tale that you've ever heard or read about?

What is it with people who stare? Especially out in public. I mean you can be minding your own business, have your hair combed well, dressed in casual manner and still there will be at least one person who stares at you like they're hypnotized or in some kind of dream state or just angry or with a blank expression.
What is it with people like that?

Has anyone else seen this? I warn you, that it is very strange and it may seem funny but, it's actually kind of sad.

Well, here's the link...

I got these from Sparky a short while ago and have already applied several of them on cases that used to be labeled with masking tape and ink.

Sparky's labels are almost identical to the originals and they stick on great!

Just look at this!

I have a first class package that I've been waiting on that was sent out on the 14th, the post office's website says it was expected by the 16th and now it's the 17th and still nothing.
Every time I check the number, I keep getting the same status as when it first went out.
I don't understand what could be taking them so long to carry this stuff across just a few states and then put it in my mailbox.

Has anyone else had this problem with the mail system? :x

Does anyone remember this part of their website? The part that showed nearly all of the U.S. games and accessories and boxes and stuff?
Does anyone know if they kept all of those pics after they closed their site and if anyone still has them?
I miss looking at them and they brought back a lot of memories from shopping at Babbages and Toys'R Us for games and seeing all of those boxes with their brilliant orange and black color schemes.

I have a Sega Genesis 2 that I pulled some rusty shielding out of and I need some that is rust free to replace it with or just an old burnt out Genesis 2 will do.

For trade, I have miscellaneous Genesis carts, S-NES carts, NES carts, a few HuCards and some boxed Intellivision games with manuals and overlays.

NOT looking for trouble. Just that in case anyone was wondering, a few people asked me to take a break until I felt better and then to come back so, I've had time to think about it and I'm trying. I really am.
I'm sorry for the earlier rants smartass remarks.
I'm just going through a lot of shit at home right now and I'm sorry if I took it out on anyone here.

Got another Final Lap Twin that I don't need.

This isn't the one from the original 9 that were up for sale/trade. That one is gone but, I have another loose one
with faded title paint that I want to raffle off so, if anyone is interested, just let me know.
I'll try to get a pic up soon.

Raffle closes next Wednesday, 02/22/02.

The game will be held onto until the winner claims it. Free shipping.

EDIT: Pic of game

EDIT 2: And the results are in!

Let's take a look, shall we?

I managed to hang-on to a few things from the old days as well. I didn't feel like looking for my backups so, I just went to one of my old archives and grabbed a few things that some might like to see.

If you have any of your own or some that you've found on-line, feel free to show them here.

I'm gonna raffle this one off because I just can't bear the thought of selling or trading it for anything due to the condition of the title paint so, it's up for a free raffle give away.

Raffle Ended
Winner is IRuu. (IRuu, PM me for mailing direction. Congrats on the win.)

Shipping: US and Canada only, sorry.

Thanks to everyone who played.

I haven't been here long enough to check everyone out but, aside from myself, what is it exactly about these other members that so many here seem to detest that is so bad?

I'm just asking because I'm curious. Can someone shed a little light on this to give not only myself but, other new members some idea of what to expect from *those* members without having to wade through all of their previous posts or at least give us a list of them so, we'll no who to check out?

Anyone else collect games for this system? If so, how many do you have and how many more do you need?

Can anyone who knows anything at all about Yame tell me what the Susie 32-bit plug in is/was for?

EDIT: Nothing?? You mean it was just an April fools joke? Aww, man. That's just mean...

I was going through a box full of Sega Genesis carts the other day for Arkhan and found a few games I didn't remember picking up that are also in the TG16 game library and even a few that are in the PC-Engine library.

Valis III
Air Buster (Aero Blaster)
Cadash

Truxton (Tatsujin?)
Strider
Altered Beast (Jouki)
Fatal Fury 2

Anyone Else?

So, if the TG16, TE or Turbo Duo was your first arcade quality console, what made you choose it over the competition and were you satisfied with the choice you had made?

Also, how did people you knew who didn't have one act about it? Did they like it, did they put it down or make stupid jokes?

Please be descriptive and take the time to go into detail if you wish so, that we can all understand what it was like for you as an owner of the system.

#21
How extensive was your knowledge of electronics/computers and etc. before you discovered the TurboGraf-16/PC-Engine systems and where you mechanically inclined?
#22
What 10 PC-Engine ports would you have suggested be brought over to the U.S. and Europe?

I think these would have been a good start...

1. Double Dragon II
2. Heavy Unit
3. Operation Wolf
4. Outrun
5. Dracula X: Chi No Rondo
6. SF II: Dash
7. Final Soldier
8. Kazi Kuri: Ninja Action
9: Die Hard
10: Altered Beast

I know that some of these came later but, remember, we're just fantasizing here so, there's no need to be 100% accurate about release dates unless of course you have a time machine and are planning on taking a trip to the past to warn NEC and Hudson Soft about what all is going to happen.

Condition ranges from fair to awful-looking.
Most games have decent to downright poor Title Paint
with scratchy surfaces and back sides being scuffy and scratchy with slot marks.

Here's a low quality pic but, don't let it fool you as they don't really look
THAT good.

I'll sale them at reasonable prices or trade for other shabby Hu's that I don't have.

TV Sports Football
Sidearms = Trading with Snickersbar
Keith Courage
J.J. and Jeff  = Gone
China Warrior = Holding for IRuu
Chase H.Q. = Gone
Victory Run
Galaga '90
Final Lap Twin = Gone

If the government did shutdown the internet and boot up internet 2, would you pay for a subscription so, that you could get back online?
#25
I have a few questions for TG16/PC-E console owners who also use Wii's Virtual Console.

First off, are the games as accurate as on the TG16?
Noticed any bugs or glitches that don't occur in your Turbo or Duo?
Is the speed, audio and video accurate, better, worse?
Do they carry the entire U.S. library?
Do Wii versions of the games come with any pics of the original covers, boxes or history?
Have any of the available games expired or no longer available?
Does one require a router and online service to acquire the Virtual TG16 games?
Do you have to be online to play the downloaded games?

Okay so, that was a lot more than a few questions but, I'm curious because I've thought a little about getting this system.

Buy/Sell/Trade / TG16 HuCard WANTED List
01/28/2012, 03:35 PM
Hey, all.

Pay day is coming up for me soon and I have a list here of 36 games that I need.
I'm not looking to score all 36 at once.  I may only have enough for a handful but,
if anyone has any of what I'm looking for, please let me know.
Loose is fine but, I prefer TurboChip case and booklet.

Label condition isn't important because, I'm buying Sparky's replacement labeling set
but, I do prefer HuCards be free of obvious scratches/smudges/ripples in the title paint
and the booklet -if you have that- be in at least nice condition but, doesn't have to be perfect.

Anyway, here's what I need...

Aero Blasters
Air Zonk
Andre Panza Kick Boxing
Bomberman
Bomberman '93
Bonk's Revenge
Bonk's Big Adventure
Boxy Boy
Champions Forever Boxing
Cratermaze
Davis Cup Tennis
Deep Blue
Drop Off
Falcon
Ghost Manor
Hit the Ice
Impossamole
Jack Nicklaus' Turbo Golf
Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu
Klax
Magical Chase
Military Madness
Moto Roader
New Adventure Island
Parasol Stars
Samurai Ghost
Silent Debuggers
Sonic Spike
Space Harrier
Super Volleyball
Time Ball
Tricky Kick
World Class Baseball
World Court Tennis
World Sports Competition
Yo Bro

Sorry if I seem picky or anal retentive but, I take this particular hobby very seriously.
