Looks like I agree with the majority, for the moment at least. Gotta agree with Nat to a degree tho, there are a couple on this list that brings a tear to my eye to think that no one else has ever enjoyed them :'(
Maybe its a difference in age? Having grown up playing nothing but 8bit stuff, maybe i just have a higher appriciation for some of the more 'simplified' games

WELL anyway, theres apparently a guy in my town (Athens, GA.) that has a craigslist post up with some random SNES boxed titles, some loose NES stuff, and an unteseted naked TG16 with NOTHING. Just to give you guys a taste of how bad it is, this guys has a 100$ price quote for StreetFighter 2 CIB SNES... Well apparently his normal-looking TG16 was some wierd promo/exclusive or something since he claims it never was sold here in the states, and therefore is worth 150$ with no cables, no controllers, and no gaurantee that it even works... maybe i can't find the listing because I flagged it when I saw it last nite 8D

Ok, so maybe this isnt definition "gouging" because it kinda seems like the dude just has no idea what a TG16 is OR how the hell to use google... maybe just sheer stupidity?

Welcome to the forums sir! Not tring to flame on a new member or anything of the sort, but this thread is posted in the wrong section. Were it to be moved to the proper section (PC Engine), you would probally get more replies and support. This section is best suited for PC-FX talk/discussion/poo-flinging  
 
   But seriously, like JKM said, get yourself a TurboE.D. and rock out on all the greatest PCE games you want, and slowly build your physical library as time/money allows. If I could redo it, I would have bought an everdrive first and foremost... this way you dont have to wait to play or overpay for great titles and it will allow you to wait til you can find said titles at good, non-gouged prices. Just make sure you heed my warning... if your not careful and end up spending too much time around here, you just may develop an addiction to that new machine of yours! My interest started as a hobby... im a full-blown addict now... I MUST OBEY....

Imagine you have a 16x16 graphic that looks like an L. Hypothetically this graphic could be repeated 4 times to create a box.

I was a huge fan of the Suikoden games on PSX. The 108 playable characters, 6 man party, rune system... Love those games!

Gotta agree with Este here... Timeball was my first game on my TG16, and yes whille I will agree to the fact that its no Ys title or Blazing Lasers, it definitely a fun a game to play. Hell, it kept me busy for the better part of 6 months til my birthday rolled around and I had enough cash to add a second title to my library. Better than Ballistix thats for sure

A few times when I sold something on ebay I would offer some sort of a discount to forum members like 10% off their final bid or whatever if it sold to someone on the forum.  Just a thought.

Its actually a good bit better than Shinobi on PCE, grafic wise and gameplay wise. Pretty much all PCE games with ninjas are expensive (excluding ninja warriors because of how bad it is).

Huh, the HG-101 article made me think that the NES was overall the best version to get. I heard that elsewhere, too. Besides better graphics, why is the PCE version the one to get?

The game speed feels slightly faster and the response of Ryu feels a little sharper as well. I will agree to the fact that the NES version has better chiptunage tho

Thats the one. Ctophil and I have the same convertor... Nothing appears damaged or disconnected tho, everything looks intact. I havent hit it all over with a meter yet, but im pretty lazy and was content just using it in my TurboXpress

Ctophil, your not crazy and dont bother none of the above mentioned methods will work (at least not in my experience). I bought that same converter and had the exact same issues with my SS3.0 card. I even got an arcade card pro to try and still the same thing. The convertor does import card games jsut fine, i think there is an issue with the convertor allowing the system access the ram thats in those system cards.

After trying everything that everone so far has mentioned in here, i ended up having TurboKon slap me in a region chip.

I know this post is dead for the most part, but just wanted to throw this on here since it was on my mind... Got my baby back from Turbokon and its running better than ever! Thanx a million Turbo for the awesome work! Wouldnt hesitate to refer a fellow Turbo-fan or PCEFX member to you for mod work!

And BTW, if anyone is wanting to attempt this mod themselves, I can get my hands on some great little jumper wires that will most certainly make the job easier. Just PM if you want to know more about the jumpers or If you need some I can order some in at the Radioshack I manage and ship them to you guyz
