Major bonus points for including Captain Planet.

Am I the only person who would love too see Captain Planet and Captain Power team up?

"With the Earth on the verge of destruction in the aftermath of the Metal Wars a new group of hero's will arise from the ashes.  Captain Jonathan Power leads the soldiers of the future to end Lord Dredd's reign. Utilizing the awesome power suits they are each turned into a one man fighting force.  Joined by the Planeteers who possess the awesome power rings when combined summons Earth's greatest hero Captain Planet.  Together they will stop Lord Dredd, save humanity and restore the Earth from the ravages of the Metal Wars."

Congratz on getting the SNES, now you're playing with power!

Tons a great games for that that console.

I believe that Nintendo, Sega and NEC can live together in harmony :D

Environmental hazards lol.

I rarely die from actual damage taken but I seem to die in every pit/water/spike/trap out there :(

Quote from: galam on 05/21/2014, 03:20 PMturbokon has done a couple fantastic jobs for me over the years.
But honestly, I would trust any of them.  Never have I heard one complaint on the boards about their work.
^^This.  Except that Keith Courage has done some work for me, but as stated, I've never heard of any complaints about any of them.
This x2.

Just think how much obey has been saved by these boards.  Brings such a warm feeling in my heart :D

The answer is simple.

The game is magical and now everybody chases it.  :-"
#207
I feel like I'm more "Middle Age" then a senior but if I qualify I would love to enter.

Very generous raffle either way Bernie.

Quote from: MrFlutterPie on 05/13/2014, 04:38 PMNice Rushing beat :)  Are you going to get the whole trilogy?
Afraid it's damn near impossible with Rushing Beat Shura being in the three figure club.
Which one of the three is the best one?
Peacekeepers IMO

We get lots of new people but how many actually stay and become regular posters and are accepted by the community as a whole?  :-k

I've been playing the new 3DS Kirby that came out today.  Loving it!
#214
I got the new Kirby game for the 3DS.  I have always been a fan of Kirby so grabbed it today while doing my grocery shopping.
#215
My pooping game of choice TMNT Fall of the Foot Clan for the Game Boy :D
#216
Damn cool box O' goodies you got there congratz!
#217
Nintendo still makes quality handhelds though.  I can't remember a game being as good as A Link between Worlds in the last decade.

Hell I crossed the 200 DS mark recently and I still find new and interesting things for the system.
#218
Yeah the screen is very poor.  I find it better if you play in low light.  I used to stay up as a kid after my mom put me to bed playing my Game Gear because it had a back light so I could see in the dark.  I was so impressed with the back light as a kid lol.

I got my childhood game gear back from Kieth a little while ago recapped and working great!

As a teen I tired to trade it in but because the caps were bad it had no audio so the store wouldn't take it.  It was because of this defeat that it was saved.  For some reason I hung on to it all these years.  I finally got off my butt and got it all fixed up.  I'm so happy to have saved a small piece of my childhood :)

I had some Kielbasa today :)  I love that stuff .

Man I love Metriod 2.  I had 1 and 2 as a kid and I always preferred 2 for the Gameboy.

Quote from: HailingTheThings on 04/18/2014, 05:25 PMNuyce Bucky collection! Puts mine to shame, I just have the ten carded figures, some loose figures, some VHS tapes, the Vanguard manga, The UK DVD set and the NES game boxed, complete. That Jenny, though.... damn, man, how much... how much you get her for? C'mon, c'mon... Also, I like the plushies, they American? I think I recall seeing them somewhere before?

Also, please get an acrylic case for Jenny, please? Those things are much too valuable to be left out in the open.

Really wish Continuity studios would follow through with their *rumored/supposed* plans to re-release the original toy line and then put out the second wave that never made it.

*DREAMS VERY, VERY HARD*

IMG
I am looking into getting cases for the moc figures and something for Jenny.  The plushies are American I believe however, I did get one from a U.K seller so don't quote me on that.

The Jenny was very reasonable.  A spelling error kept her from showing up in the general Bucky O hare searches on ebay.  I was the only bidder hehe.
#226
Here is my Bucky O'Hare collection:

So lets CROAK US SOME  TOADS!

IMG

Just got her today   Due to a spelling error in the title I was able to win her as the only bidder.  Finally my quest for a complete crew of the Righteous Indignation has come to a rest.

Quote from: MrFlutterPie on 04/16/2014, 03:05 PMI would have jumped on that deal in a heartbeat.  I do see proto's time to time in various forms but they are always super high crazy prices.
Seems to be the norm is one grand, give or take, but can always negotiate. Months ago was tempted a second time to grab Kamikaze, talked to the seller, he said the cheapest he'd go was $750... I wasn't willing at the time. :(
Tell me about it!

Every time they are put up it's always $1000+ with Best offer.  The should run an honest auction .99 cents start no reverse and let the market figure it out.

Quote from: MrFlutterPie on 04/15/2014, 05:39 PMI discovered the Turbo on a whim in the winter of 08 (Late bloomer I know)  I too fall in love with it immediately.  It has such a strong arcade feeling to it.  Fast pick up and play games.  I've often referred to it as "All of the gaming and none of the Bullshit"  It feels like i can clear a level or 2 of Ninja Spirit before I can even start playing a modern game (logos, sign in etc.)

It plays more like 8 Bit games but with a 16 bit window dressing.  I like the simplicity.  I also feel like the games often have a Eastern influence which make the games feel more unique and interesting.
It truly is only 8bit :-) they got away with calling it 16 due to having an independent video processor.

I referring to the style of games and not the actual hardware ;)

Uh oh, I can't wait, Mister Man, I really should've been setting aside some money for Bucky Repros. Eff. I almost bought a fully painted Kamikaze Kamo back in oh, idk 2003 for $400, GD, wish I would've.

Yes. Any time I get a new Turbo game, I watch the Turbo Views Review of it again, if there is one. :3
I do this as well :D

I've beaten Cadash twice now.  Once with the Ninja and once with the Wizard.

It's a boxing kangaroo ;)

Zardoz is an interesting take on the subject of immortality in that it was curse rather then a blessing.  Once you get over the silly "The gun is good the penis is evil" line it becomes a interesting thought provoking movie.

I've giving Turrican another go as I just can't believe it's that bad.

I just want to add to the Blue love as he sent me a free Avenue 6 controller when he found out I was playing SF 2:CE with the default 2 button controller :D

It's been my main controller ever since and I got it.

I know we as a community can off a bit prickly but you guys are some of the best assholes I have ever had the pleasure to know :)
