It isn't terrible, but the visible white areas and non-uniform sparkles rub me the wrong way. This does make me want to see a real quality paint job though.Probably the photo's.

I thought all of us embarrassed you the point where you self-deleted. You came back as a guest?
You realize that there are about 4 recurring JAPJAC jokes about how bad your posts are. And nobody I know, knows or cares WTF that Capcom thing is you always claim to be the worlds expert on. Hubris is not welcome here, especially among the people who actually know what the fuck they're talking about.
The first time, I thought you were a spambot account your formatting was so bad. The second time, I couldn't believe you came back for more abuse, and now I'm kind of dumbfounded because none of this shit was postulation, you actually are still hocking the same bilge you were a few years ago, and as a person who, in my 20's worked as a music promoter as an actual job, working for an actual record label, getting actual checks, I fail to see how you're doing promo for anything.
Please self-delete. Oh wait you're still a guest.
Quote from: guest on 11/28/2017, 11:41 AMAmiga/C64 stuff seems to be some of the best documented stuff for any old computer scene. It amazes me some of the obscure stuff I've run across like "who saved this, lolwtf"I'm amazed how they got all this stuff.
but, that's a good thing really.

Quote from: totoroslayer on 07/29/2017, 02:52 PMSorry if this is necro'ing the thread (please tell me if that's not allowed, and I'll repost elsewhere). You can use either.
@vimtoman, do you know if the FM18W08 (wide voltage) is necessary, or will a regular FM1808 work as well?
Thanks!

Quote from: esteban on 01/11/2017, 09:53 PMI think after a few gallons of vodka you will be streaming scantily dressed women urinating on a bed.Quote from: geise on 01/11/2017, 06:37 PMThis thread made me realize how old I really am.I am willing to buy a few gallons of vodka to spell out "PCE" on my driveway. Set alight, I will perform acrobatics as I leap across the flames.I never really stopped to think of all of those being that long ago. This is a great thread though. Shubi that would be so awesome if you guys held an event over there. I would love to see pics since I am 5000% certain my old ass will be in bed. Also, time zones!
This, truly, is the only way to celebrate PCE anniversary in NJ.
I will stream it for our comrades in France.

Quote from: elmer on 11/28/2016, 02:31 AMJust PM me when you need my helpQuote from: Vimtoman on 11/27/2016, 04:22 AMThe IC above the switch? I could solder that on for you and add the connector.Thank you so much for the offer, it's very much appreciated, and I may well take you up on it!
I'm in the UK.
I've asked KRIKzz's staff whether it would even be technically possible to do that hack (it may be something that they changed in the FPGA, too), and I've also asked if it's possible to special-order a bunch of cards with the USB option included, just to see what that would cost (if possible).
There are so few people here interested in development that I suspect that it would be hard to come up with enough to meet a minimum-order, but I can always fantasize!
KRIKzz really should have encouraged developers to use the USB (IMHO) if he really wanted regular--gamers to see the value in paying the extra cash for the USB option.
From my POV, it's a developer's dream-card ... but I totally understand that until folks like me actually do something useful with the extra hardware, it's just costly dead-weight to folks that just want to play games.

And he *may* have also dropped the decoupling caps that aren't needed if the FT254R isn't installed.Quote from: Vimtoman on 11/26/2016, 03:42 PMCan you not just solder the usb connector on?Possibly ... but not well. And when it comes to the FIFO chip ... I've got no chance at all!
I tell you ... getting older really sucks, and I'm not *that* effing old!

As it is ... I may just end up getting the Black Friday deal, and then trying to do a swap/upgrade with someone that has a v2.4 with USB that doesn't really need the USB.
Not sure how-on-earth else to get a USB-enabled TED v2 to have as a backup in case mine dies.
And it would sure be nice to be able to test both the DUO and the SuperGrafx/SuperCDROM at the same time with 2 TED cards when it comes to the fast CD library.
