I helped edit/betatest and it's also a game I actually finished in 2023, yaaay! Shubibiman also did a French localization. |

Game: Doraemon - Nobita's Dorabian Night. Got pretty far in and than got curious about how saving would work ? haha probably lost all the saves oh well. perhaps it autosaved ?
Also what is the suspend function intended for ? while hold select than press run while in a game it will return to the start bios menu ?
Still very new to the pc engine duo-r it was bought on yahoo japan. So learning, Oh ok figured out that menu part now. seems like games have been auto-saving into there! how cool!
Is there a program we can run on it to test the integrity of all it's functions to confirm it doesn't have any faulty parts such as laser etc. we recently took some %99 alcohol to clean the lens and put white silicon grease on the cd rails and plastic gears. It seems to have a loose controller port. have to make sure the controller is plugged in really snug or it will easily glitch out on the controls at times not recognizing certain buttons when pressed .

searching for a english translated version for the system operation manual / guide for the duo-r, we don't speak japanese and we are having a tough time understanding how to save a game while playing it, whether it is a cd or hucard.

The saturn works great with the modchip I use it plus the action replay 4m plus cart to play pretty much any games. The saturn is in the original Japan region but it doesn't make a difference when in use with the cart it will boot US and J region no problemo. Yes this mod will allow you guys to play your backups, copied CD's. I have not tested the console with European region games yet either. O:)

200 USD is very modest considering what is included I had to purchase the scart and svideo cables seperate and both of these was nearly $50 alone since they're so proprietary. Oh I nearly forgot to mention the back battery door is missing off the back it never really impacted gameplay at any point and a replacement would go for about $5 to $10 or make one yourself

My intention is to get a good console that can be used with an everdrive to be bought from krikz at somepoint. Krikz says that region modded systems may cause trouble for use with the everdrive. as for RGB mods or recap I'm not really sure as I'm quite new to PC engine. Hello, I just signed up today. My name is Zach, I've been gaming for over 20 years since I was born. I'm from Canada and I have some family in Japan. I used to own a PC-FX but I don't anymore. I heard about this forum / website from other places suggesting it had a good user base. I also posted in the other forum for WTB as I'm looking forward to getting to own a pc engine duo, or even turbo duo. I'd like to experience the CD based games on the console and I have been thinking about getting one for the last year or so and finally today I came here to join up , learn and meet people!
