Thanks for the ideas here. I have some monster binders I'll check for static electricity, as I think the 4 pocket page binders are a perfect size for storing hu-cards. If static is an issue I'll probably try using dryer sheets in the pockets by adhering them inside the pages.

Cool. I didn't realize they made those so long ago. I used to play a lot of fighting games, so the sticks I own got a lot of wear and tear.

I assumed you meant Microsoft since Google wasn't showing me anything for micromsoft. I've never heard of them, but it's difficult to give them a fair shake after only seeing that one stick.

Quote from: jenkinsmitchell on 04/25/2016, 06:22 PMI haven't come across any sticks that are even decent for any of the 8 or 16 bit games. I recently finally broke down and used a 3rd party SNES controller to mod an American style arcade stick with IL buttons and stick. Now Turtles in Time feels the way it was supposed to.

Maybe in the future I'll get a 6 button PCE controller and do the same for my Duo.

I hear the Micromsoft and I know the Hori Fight sticks use microswitch sticks and buttons, and work great.
I didn't know Hori made sticks for that era. I haven't run across any Microsoft sticks worth noting except the flight sim sticks.

It's worth mentioning that not all micro switches and buttons are created equally. There are some Hori sticks that use arcade quality parts, and some that use Hori brand parts. Only the most casual players will play their games little enough to not wear out the Hori parts quickly.

This past week I got my first PC duo, and a few games for it. I snagged Dungeon Explorer, Samurai ghost, devil's crush, ninja spirit, Rondo of Blood, and some others that aren't coming to mind. I've never played with a PCE, until now, but I really like the games I've tried so far. I'm pretty addicted to Castlevania right now...

I just started Rondo of Blood this week. I also just got my first NEC system in the form of a PC duo. Not sure what I'll play after RoB, but I'm leaning toward Dungeon Explorer (which I didn't know had a 5-player option).

I just started playing it and I love it. My main experience with the series prior to playing this was  Castlevania IV, which I never thought would be topped.

It's actually reinvigorated my interest in the series and I think I'm gonna dig out my copy of bloodlines next.

Thanks for the help. I'll look into doing a composite mod.

I have a PCE that just shows fuzzy lines and I hear that changing the caps will fix audio issues, but I'm wondering if it fixes the video issues in most cases as well.

Thanks for any help.
