My Duo-R lost all the saves recently. I had not played it for a few months. The last time I did play Ys III, it was glitching when I would try to save. Hopefully I can recharge it.

Aero Blasters. Was reading an old EGM where it was reviewed, realized I never really gave the game much of a chance. It's pretty good and challenging.

I use a largish pistol case with custom cutouts in the foam.  It's big enough for the 'Express, tuner, ac adapter, dc adapter, and link cable.

That's a good idea, I will look into that. Ideally I want something that can also carry the power adaptors.

My bag looks orangy. Definitely not "garish pink". 

Serves me well. Has ample space as well for loose Hueys. I even have a TurboVision that fits nicely in there.

Dunno why I thought they were pink.

Obviously not everyone is going to be using the garish pink neon bag, but I'm curious what works well for when you take the system with you.

I've started Valis 3 for the first time. I'm enjoying it, even though it can be a bit frustrating at times. For example, the sliding is kind of awkward, especially when you're supposed to slide between platforms. Bosses are super easy so far. Overall I'm enjoying it, and I like the story and cutscenes. Voice acting is charmingly bad as always.

Much easier than the SMS version.

If I remember correctly, you just get inside of one ring and go nuts when the heads cross.

Hmmm, I will have to try that. I kept going back and forth and it didn't work too well.

This boss is so freaking frustrating! I had to stop for a bit as I just can't beat it. It's so hard to tell if you're going to get hit by the spinning orbs, and you die so quickly. Not to mention you have to alternate your attacks between the two heads. And I can't even use a heal potion.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Played some Final Soldier today. Stage 6 wrecked me. Those damn turrets that shoot homing shots at you are the bane of my existence.

I'm in central IL and I only ever saw one kid on my Jr high bowling team bring his Turbo Express to the bowling alley. I was in awe as it was so expensive at the time. My family would occasionally travel to the Chicago suburbs to go to the malls, and I always dreamed of walking into the NEC building hoping they would give me a Turbografx for some reason.

Got a PCE works copy of Godzilla the other day, been trying to unlock most of the monsters. Sometimes the AI just stands there, other times it kicks my ass. Fun game though. Sound effects are awesome

I must be getting old as e3 just isn't that exciting for me anymore. What used to be a fun sneak peek at upcoming games has become a massive marketing event. I guess it always was, but the older I get the more I notice it. Most everything is hyped so early in development so you can rush to preorder, then forget about it when it releases in a year.

Finished watching the 5 episodes of Chronturbo that are up. Decided to fire up some Side Arms. I made it pretty far into the game before losing all my continues. It's definitely not as bad as Dr. S says, reminds me a lot of Section Z

I would say I'm pretty average at both. My biggest problem is usually the bullet color, if it blends in to the backgrounds it makes the game harder for me.

Thanks for letting me join your community. I've been a Turbo fan for a long time. I can remember playing Keith Courage at Children's Palace when the system launched.  Got my first TG16 and Turbo Express from a pawn shop while I was in college in the late 90s. Been addicted ever since. These days, I'm rocking a Duo R and Everdrive, mainly trying to build a good CD library. I can definitely say this is such a great system to keep coming back to.

Also been playing Lords of Thunder. Game is awesome on so many levels.
