1. The graphics look like a Sega Master System game.

2. You do this stupid attack where you just run into enemies, there's no skill or tactics involved.

Have you even bought anything yet?  This thread has been about a game you were thinking of buying (Soldier Blade), then another one you were thinking of buying (Legendary Axe), and then posting that you were "going to buy" a Final Zone 2... after it sold.

Instead of talking about spending money, actually go out there and spend some money.  That is, if you are serious about collecting.  Or are you just thinking about collecting?

Well Jonah's Boner I have bought lots of games, the whole point of this thread is for buyers who are thinking of buying TG16 games but are not sure if it's a good price or not can advice from other collectors.

I think that copies of Magical Chase with manual and random case which appear to have sold on eBay in the past year or two have been between $1500 - $3000.

If anyone here wants to sell me a Magical Chase for $3000 please let me know.

Of course, i think these prices are ridiculous......but i think it's really funny how this "extremely rare" game shows up in two auctions at the same time.  And I've seen it more in the past couple months too.

Where did you learn about turbo grafx? What makes you interested in them?

I was born in 1996 so I'm too young to have been around for the time of the NES (and TG16), but for some reason I like those consoles. I like the look of full set NA retro games collections, I think they look really cool on display in a game room and I've always liked rare or valuable things whether it's video games, comic books or baseball cards.
I was collecting NES games and kept hearing about TG16 on Youtube retro games channels and as I looked into it I found out that it's even more elite to have a full NA TG16 set and the total amount of games in the set is much lower than NES so should be easier to achieve.
Also I would like to start my own Youtube show and think it would look cool if I had a full set of TG16 in the background.

As I can't find a decent price guide any where, I thought to start a new topic where new collectors can post the asking prices of TG16 games on eBay or forums or in the wild that they are thinking of buying and collectors here can say whether it's a fair price.

I'll start. I'm close to pulling the trigger on this game Soldier Blade. What are the forums opinion on this price? from what I've seen it sell for recently the price seems quite fair.

What's wrong with wanting to see a picture of a full collection on shelves?
I don't know much yet about the system but I'm interested and want to learn more about collecting for it. I thought a dedicated TG16 forum would encourage new collectors, not attack them.

Hey fellow collectors,
I found out about the TG16 a few months back on some Youtube retro gaming videos.
I was advised on a Facebook group this was a great resource to find cheap TG16 games.
I'm new to collecting TG16 but I consider myself an elite collector, I intend to collect the full NA TG16 set factory sealed and a second mint full set collection to play.
I'm not interested in emulation or Japanese TG16 games or the Euro Pal TG16 games.

I've scored some sweet deals on some other forums with Nintendo games, I resold them on eBay to help fund the collection.

I won't pay eBay prices, but I have cash waiting for your TG16 games, sell me your games!!

BTW when do the catchpas stop?
