Quote from: MooZ on 02/01/2017, 11:25 AMCool to have a new demogroup on PCE!
I'm currently super busy with a small prod for the next datastorm. Hopefully it will be over next week :)
Anyway, I'll be more than happy to lend a hand.
Awesome! Saw your stuff on pouet for pce and its very nice :) RamonB5 is setting up a slack page and we'll be sending invites out in the next couple days. Could you pm me a good e-mail to send an invite to?

Thanks for the art and the interest :) Sounds like between our group and you guys we have some artists and musicians lined up. Still looking for coders. I'll be writing code, but I'll need at least one serious collaborator for this thing to get off the ground. Recommendations?

Quote from: Michirin9801 on 01/31/2017, 02:53 PMHere's a 2bpp artwork for the GBC I did a while back:

(Note: The sprites have 6 colours as opposed to the usual 3 because they're 2 sprites on top of one another)

A fanart for Henshin Engine I did:

The cover of my album that I also drew:

And a screen-cap of an animation I'm currently working on:

I can easily draw 4bpp artwork too btw, I just don't have anything presentable that reflects what I can currently do...
Lots of great art! Thanks for sharing :)

Quote from: guest on 01/31/2017, 02:14 PMYou need any musical assistance?

I probably won't have alot of time to do anything code related (bonknuts or elmer is probably better for the hardware pushing stuff anyway), but I could help with music or sound related stuff.

Any other details on this yet?
Musical assistance is welcome. We have a few musicians and artists in our group that may also be able to contribute material, but the more the merrier :) Right now we are seeing if there is interest in doing this and if it is feasible to get a team together. No other details to speak of yet.

Quote from: Michirin9801 on 01/31/2017, 01:59 PMI wouldn't mind contributing with a piece of art, so long as you don't mind cutesy 90s anime art of course...
That sounds interesting. We haven't decided on a theme yet, but an anime styled theme could be very cool. Post some of your stuff :)

To everyone: if you are interested in participating but are not available this week, or this month, we are not operating under any particular deadlines. The window for completion is probably something more like 6 months to 1 year. After all, we're mostly adults with jobs and other responsibilities... unfortunately ;)

Cool! Do you have some examples of your work?

Quote from: touko on 01/31/2017, 12:59 PMI like it, cool effects on the old 4A, and the music is very good too, a little bit irritating on some sounds but catchy .
Thanks! We're proud of what we accomplished. Definitely turned some heads in the 4A community. Hoping to do the same here :)

Hello all,

This is Orby from the demogroup DESiRE. We take old hardware and make it do things that everyone thought were impossible  8). We are interested in doing a megademo for the PCE and are looking for experienced coders on the platform and other creative individuals who are interested in collaborating.

You can read about our latest release for the TI-99/4A on hackaday at

http://hackaday.com/2017/01/30/dont-mess-with-texas-the-ti-994a-megademo/

or just watch the Youtube video of it at
We anticipate being able to do some much more impressive things with the awesome little piece of hardware that is the PCE :)

If you're interested in participating and think you'll have some time to work on such a thing, drop me a line at orbitaldecay@gmail.com, or reply to this post. Thanks!
