Localization Legend "Supper the Subtitler" has "joined the club" in being targeted for CD-pressings by bootleg master Tobias/PCEWorks! His projects like Private Eyedol, Galaxy Fräulein Yuna 1 & 2, etc. are now being sold on Chinese factory-pressed CDROMs...

Just finished Jigoku Meguri.
It's got some hellish inst-death setups and some super tricky platforming but still really enjoyed it.
Managed to 1CC it too as I nailed the early levels and built up a number of lives.

To confirm, this was indeed the red and blue being mixed.

Not sure how the CRT displayed fine, but swapping the red and blue definitely fixed this

Thanks!

Hey,

So I took the system round to a friend's house and on both a CRT and an old LCD the picture displayed correctly, yet running through the Framemeister I get this blue effect.

So I'm not totally convinced it is wired incorrectly.

I would say it's the Framemeister but every other one of my consoles works fine through the RGB with no colour problems at all...

I bought a DUO recently and it has been recapped and RGB modded.

I'm currently running through a Framemiester and the picture looks like this.
Graphics are overly blue and there is interference that can been seen on the blacks.

The guy I got it from says if works fine on a CRT but I don't have a CRT to test. Anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?

Not sure if this is the right place but I was looking for some kind of comprehensive list of controller mods and how to implement them.

I myself am wanting to mod an old arcade stick to work on the PCE but have no clues on different methods, pros and cons etc.

Does a list of methods exist?
So far on my searches I've found the following...

Adapter for PlayStation controllers
http://www.tototek.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=23&products_id=51

MC Cthulhu
https://paradisearcadeshop.com/fgc-console-joystick/1828-toodles-mc-cthulhu.html

NES controller mod
http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/nes-to-pc-engine-controller-mod/

I'm guessing you canalso just scrap PC Engine controller and put the innards in a stick...?

Do people have feedback on things they've done/used? Whats easy/hard? Limitations etc.

Heavy Unit fell pretty swiftly, after the initial sticking point.
I never bothered with the 2nd loop though.

I've now moved on to Hana Taaka Daka, which is great!

Caught myself out initially by having auto fire on. I was like "man, why do these enemies take so long to friggin die!?" Felt rather silly after paying attention to the UI and seeing the power indicator at the top

><

I'm cooking now, got on to Stage 4 all tanuki's found.

Love the music, especially the first level!

Just started Heavy Unit.
Its like the hardest opening to a game ever!
Took multiple attempts just to figure out part 1-1! The game even felt sorry for me at one point and moved me to 1-2 ><

I'm looking for a list of games on the PC engine that uses the Select button as an active button.

I'm thinking things like Ninja Spirit where the Select button changes your weapon.

I'm making a custom PC Engine stick and I'm debating if the Select button should go on the face or at the top with the Run button.

Yea, I don't mind obvious reproduction stuff so much it's the guys who sell things under the radar.
Twice on eBay I've bought carts as official and they've turned out to be fake.

I'm always nervous looking around eBay these days, I know there are a lot of reproductions/fakes for things like, Famicom, GBA etc. But wasn't sure about Hucards. Anyone have the word on this?
