Well, I had 3 3DO consoles because I had all three of the US versions. I also had a TurboGrafx16 with CD and also a Duo RX. They are gone now for obviously known reasons. I do have three Dreamcast systems though because if the laser dies, POOF, you are screwed.

If I had to pick some that I am particularly missing though, the Ys games, US versions because I couldn't ever play the Japanese releases, Street Fighter II and my Ave. Pad 6's, Legendary Axe II, Ninja Spirit, Splatterhouse, Super Star Soldier, Bonk's Adventure, Riot Zone, Gate of Thunder, Dracula X (Wishful thinking here...lol). All amazing and I'm pissy about them being gone. Seriously though, I'm cool with anything and appreciate the kindness. You all are so awesome. Only thing I ask is please no US Hueys because it's a Japanese system.

It's been a long time since I posted here. Things have been hectic in my life and things happened that decimated most of my gaming collection. The TurboGrafx 16 being the main one that killed me. It will mess with your sense of security and safety in your own home. It sucks. I was going to bow out of the Retro scene all together. However, some of you got together and dangled the carrot in front of me to keep me here. I received a PC Engine Duo system and the hook ups in the mail. Mainly from majors and 780Racer. I'm sure that they are not the only ones to have anything to do with this. I "GREATLY" appreciate it so much. I am embarrassed because I can't pay you all back from your generosity and kindness.

I was asked to make a video of the unboxing, which was done. As soon as I get it uploaded to Photobucket, I'll try and dump the link here and have the vid live on the site. Sorry if I look funky to any of you...lol. Point being is that, I could never say thank you to you guys enough and you almost moved me to tears. I appreciate it so much and you guys are so amazing.

If the Jaguar community and the Neo-Geo community could learn some things from this group of people right here, there would be so much more awesomeness in the retro gaming world. You guys are so awesome and thank you again.

This is my first post, since I am new to this forum. Very informative sight, especially for a novice TG-16/PC Engine collector such as myself. But that's beside the point. My question is, as the subject title suggests, are there any TG 16 controller overlays in the vein of the ones for the NES controllers? They don't have to be official ones, because I don't think official ones even exist. But it would be cool to have some custom ones, since the TG 16 controllers have a plastic film over them that seems to degrade with age.

I was going to say. That stuff was meant to come off to keep the paint underneath from getting scratched up and such. As long as you keep the controllers in good shape though and take care of them, this shouldn't be a problem. Especially since, over time, it does degrade and leaves a nasty film on the controllers that will damage the paint/silk screening or whatever it was they used on these controllers. I had an Ave 6 Pad that had weird warps in the plastic that wouldn't come off due to the degradation of the film over time, especially around the D-Pad.

I just made this printable manual insert for Godzilla. I made it to be printed on both sides of the paper to make a nice little pamphlet. Just like the 3 in 1 Disc insert I made.

It took a bit of effort to squeeze everything on the inside but I think I got all of the important game information from the manual except the special moves lists for the monsters.

I'm also going to post this in the Turbob Xpress thread so more people see it.

As for the rest of these discs, as far s I can tell, good quality scans of the rear inserts do not exist on the internet. That is why I just made my own inserts based on pictures of the back of the cases found from ebay auctions. So unless someone who has one of these games decides to make a new scan for you, you are probably out of luck.

As for the front booklet images, if you do a google image search you should probably be able to find some good enough scans.

I appreciate that very much actually. I do have the artwork for Beyond Shadowgate floating around with the book as well as I used to own it until I accidentally cracked the disc...this will work until I can locate it. It's among my BOXES of stuff I packed up and put away as it was talking up space with a bunch of stuff. I have found sources for most of the games. However, Might and Magic III, Godzilla and The Dynastic Hero all Allude me. Anyone at all wanna' help me out here?

Maybe it's jsut me, but is there somewhere on the board that high resolution scans of the artwork for the covers and rear inserts can be posted here? I appreciate that there are copies of the booklets and such being made, but I don't generally need all of that. I just want them to look really nice in my collection in cases. Make changes to the stuff so that it doesn't look perfect to the real deal, I just want them to match my other official games for my own collection purposes. I can't find this stuff to save my life, other than Dracula X of course. I have a REALLY nice Laser Jet printer and would like to make them myself. Anyone at all can help me or point me somewhere where I can find the atuff I need already? I have exhausted my sources...

You are correct. Japanese artwork, and in the rare instance they have a game that was released in both regions artwork, the US art is always just the front cover and in Low Resolution. Would print like Hell. Just saying.

Hit the Ice is pretty cool. I love it. I also have to throw a vote in ffor TV Sports Football. I know it's not the greatest Football game of all time, but we played so much of it when I was a kid that we actually got to where we were good at it and enjoyed it. I remember the first time we saw ads for the game and there was the football player up close with the "Hi Mom!" on the screen! My cousins and I were like WOAH! That Looks so REAL!!!! LOL. Just great memories there. Still, Hit the Ice was awesome and I LOVE Hockey a lot more than Football, so yeah.
