@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

I know there's still likely quite a wait ahead, but that's still very exciting!

Chris almighty that's rude, it's not like you're paying for this fan translation. While I'd love to be able to play it for myself soon, it's one of those things that takes as long as it takes. I think most of us here actually want the dub due to our inability to understand Japanese.....and if that's not good enough for you, well maybe you should work on your own translation for the game!

Kaze Kiri honestly left me pretty cold. At first it seems like it'd be great, graphics are appealing and a wide range of moves. However it soon becomes apparent that the game has no stage design, it's all just long corridors full of enemies and nothing else. This game could have been great if it had proper stages, but otherwise it's the biggest missed opportunity on the system!

I was disappointed with it initially, but kinda gained more respect for it after playing Super Bonk. I feel that while 3 lost some of the magic the first 2 had, and was too easy, there was a lot of things the game did right. Super Bonk on the other hand felt like it was throwing random ideas at the wall to see what stuck, and the game was a complete mess as a whole. It certainly made going back to Bonk 3 a far more enjoyable experience!

Bonk 3 is a perfect example of a games being merely just good.....and for a Bonk game, it really should have been better. Bonk's Adventure was a great start to the series, Bonk's Revenge was a brilliant game that improved on almost every thing (will exception of Bonk's head spin)......but 3 not so much. The game is still good because it's built on the strong bones of the first to, but I feel like it rested on it's laurels this time, stage designs were less focused, and they seemed to try and cover up for its lack of creativity by throwing the size mechanic and a 2 player mode......problem is these felt like gimmicks. It's still mostly a well made and enjoyable game, but it's very clearly the weakest of the trilogy!
