PC-FX Localization for Team Innocent is released, a pre-Christmas gift!! In a twist, it feels like the NEC PC-FX got more attention in 2024 than any other time I can remember! Caveat: The localizers consider the "v0.9" patch a BETA as it still faces technical hurdles to eventually subtitle the FMV scenes, but they consider it very much playable. |

Thanks everyone for the info, you guys rock!, google failed me on this issue ;>
I was able to just format it, and it works fine again(the idea of having a system functional in every way except saves was a nightmare!).
I didn't know until a couple days ago how the turbo even saved games(never occured to me as a kid), I couldn't save and then just started thinking "Wait...how *did* it save before?".
Capacitor is a pretty unique way to do it, and I was surprised and sorta impressed , TD was ahead of its time in more ways than I thought it seems.

I recently brought my TurboDuo out of its box after about 5yrs and fired up Ys3.
The game saves are missing(I expected that), but the game can't save anymore.
I just get an error message anytime I try.
Anyone know if theres an easy way to fix this, or am I going to have to replace some part?, or buy one of those hucard memory cards I read about in the past.
(How much do those tend to go for? If its to much I might just spring for a full version of Magic Engine instead)

As per the original topic, I actually have *2* of those old promo tapes.
One with a buncha games, and another where they *really* hyped Lords of Thunder(along with some others).
For thier worth, I imagine they're either worthless or worth alot, I imagine if you found a very hardcore collector you could probably get a fair chunk of change for it, Since if you consider the responses to this post any indictation, it seems barely anyone got these tapes, so I'd imagine they're quite rare.
Now that I think about it I'm gonna go dig them out of a box and digitize them, VHS doesn't have a long shelf life, so working copies(of those that exist still) may be even rarer.
