At the time my dad could get farther in Space Harrier than I could and it just made me want to play more so I could beat him. It's funny, I can't even imagine my dad being caught dead playing a video game now. Ahh, how times change.

This is slightly off topic, but my dad was the same way. When I first got a SMS in '88, he would play Choplifter with me. When I got a Genesis, I remember him playing Altered Beast. There is no way he would do that now.

I nearly spazzed out in the MOA after I picked up a new issue of Gamer's Republic and saw an ad for new TurboDuos at Cart Mart back in November of 2000. I promptly ordered one and then asked for it as a gift after it shipped. My sisters just gave me money after I received it.

I later picked up my first Duo at the late-great Games To Go in Richfield in 97.

LOL! I bet it was the same Duo I had looked at a few times and wished I had the cash to buy! I sometimes liked those guys, and sometimes despised them.  They could be kind of full of themselves at times.  I bought a few 'new' Saturn titles from them. It was pretty clear that they had been resealed as there were finger prints on the games. Nonetheless, I was sad to see them close. That entire area has been demolished and rebuilt. I thought the larger fellow that was always there started his own store called Raven Games. I never visited it as I didn't know where it was.  Sad to see that Wolfgames no longer replenishes his stock either.

I believe it is analog support only though. I thought about using my Hori GC controller, but then I heard from others that it is analog only.

I used my Wii money to purchase some titles for Saturn, PC Engine, and some PS2 imports. I am a tad disgruntled over the Wii port of Metal Slug Anthology and what I have heard regarding the control scheme.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I live to the northeast of Mankato -- about 45 minutes from the metro area. This time last year, I was working in Burnsville. How about you?

As for the remark about it being cold, it has been a pretty mild, for us anyway, this fall so far. Blah. I like it white for Christmas, not brown and dreary.

The only example I really had, was what a coworker had told me. We were just comparing prices on a complete and mint copy of Dragon Warrior IV that I had purchased off ebay versus what they were charging for a copy of DW IV.

It's by far my favorite store in the Twin Cities.  I only discovered them a few months ago, but since then I've spent hundreds of dollars there.

I heard about these guys when I was working at the GS in Shakopee a few years back. Unfortunately I had always heard their games were slightly overpriced so I never bothered to check them out. Too bad. I wonder how long the SuperGrafx sat there.

I rarely ever make purchases on eBay anymore, but DREAM STARS JAPAN is the first store I check when I do scout around there.  To this point I've only bought from them once, but it was a pretty major deal.

This is really funny. I didn't name the sellers I was referring to, but one of them is indeed Dream Stars. I also have had great luck with him -- although he doesn't offer enough DC and Saturn titles for my tastes.

That's why I never buy from those huge seller guys on ebay, they always lie about the condition of their stuff.  I've NEVER had a problem buying from private sellers, but nearly everything I've ever bought from somebody who runs a store on there or does it for a living was the wrong thing.

I've never had a problem dealing withe Japanese dealers that run a store. I seem to deal with the same small group, but still their descriptions have been beyond accurate, their service good and communication (broken English aside) prompt.

About all the arcade game 2d fighter ports,except Fatal Fury 3,because somehow they managed to mess that one up,it runs slow.
Thunderforce 5,The Parodius,Gradius,and Salamander stuff,Dracula X,Metal Slug,Dungeons and Dragons Collection,Dead or Alive,Last Bronx,Fire Pro 6 Man Scramble,Giant Gram,Golden Axe the Duel,Shinobi Legends,and so many more.

I'm a huge Sega nut - the Saturn probably being my favorite system. Anyway, I figured I would add some more to this list: Soukyugurentai, Saturn Bomberman, Elevator Action Returns, Baku Baku Animal, Battle Garegga, and Kingdom Grand Prix.
