Hi, there.

Well, I'd like to add some games to Trû's list, games that, even in Japanese, aren't that impossible!

- Xak I&II (amazing musics, cool cinemas)
- Efera and Jiliora (similar to Ys, great tunes and it has an option for two simultaneous players!)
- Legend of Xanadu I & II (harder than Ys, but still playable for non-Japanese speakers. Xanadu II is certainly one of the most beautiful PCE games of all-time).

If I remember any other title, I'll post their names here, OK ?

In fact, I've made a terrible mistake here, since I missed the word DUO after the Turbo. So, Shiver, Trû is correct... As he'd mentioned, you can play pretty much every PCE-CD game released, except Arcade Card games.

Hi, there.

An important question: are you having such sync problems with original CD's? Because the problem you've mentioned happens quite often when you mount a CD from ISO + MP3 files.

I totally agree with Trû. US$25.00 for a backup service doesn't sound pretty clever.

I don't use RIGG, because of my slow 56K connection, but it's certainly a heck of an option for those with faster connections.

Hi, there

Just a little comment over yours, NFERNO68... though CloneCD is, by far, the best program to copy PCE games, there are others which work really great, even with Dracula X and Double Dragon II: Nero, Fireburner, CDRWin and Diskjuggler.

And, kyosuke75, maybe your problem might be related with your burner. It's well known that some burners don't work well with PCE CD's. Some good ones are certainly Samsung (which I own), Sony, Plextor (probably the best) and Yamaha, among a few others... I'm telling you that because, as mentioned above, Nero worked perfectly for me with every single PCE-CD I've own... and I do have lots of games!! ;-)

Hi, there.

Here are some other Capcom games released for the PC-ENGINE:

- Tenchi O Kurau (Dynasty Wars) - Excellent port of the famous arcade game. PCE version by NEC Avenue.

- Chiki Chiki Boys - Amazing port from another great Capcom arcade platform game. This one is really, really good!

- Strider (ACD) - Not that good, pretty dull movements, but amazing soundtrack and stylish cinemas.

- Ghouls and Ghosts (SGX) - AMAZING!!! The best G&G port ever!!

- 1941 Counter Attack (SGX) - AMAZING part II!!! Simply astonishing, but pretty impossible to be found!

Hmmm... maybe there are others, but I can't remember!

Hi, there.

In fact, there are people trying to translate some PCE-CD games. Some guys are working hardly on YS IV and Tengai Makkyou: Manji Maru. It seems that YS IV is kinda hard to be translated, because the text files has a weird kind of compression. Manji Maru seems to be "easier" to be translated...if this sort of work can ever be called as an easy task!

I've read on Turbo-list, a while ago, that some guys released a patch for Super Daisenrakyu (A Microcabin strategy-game). I beleive we can expect some good news about that, in the following months.

Well, I've seen all the thread regarding on MK for the NEC! In fact, I don't remember of such a hype in the Turbo-list before!

Just a few words about Cosmic Fantasy 2 on Magic Engine. If you use a more recent version of it (from 0.96 on, for Windows), the game works flawlessly.

...and everybody agreed this was, well, not fake at all, but it's not exactly a devkit. It's an hybrid of a Sharp X1-twin computer and a PCE videogame, but you can't program any PCE software on the X1-Twin computer...they've been put in a same "case", but they're quite independent, as far as I know.

Hi, man!

The subject says it all! Here's an example of the weird things that are happening: I'm logged right now, the link to my personal photo is correct, but even within the "edit profile" or "view profile" pages, I can't see the pic!!

Copy and paste the following link to your browser: pc.engine.vila.bol.com.br/cb.gif . You'll see it will work!

Anyway, if I couldn't manage this to work, I won't weep at all!

Well, as you've seen, I managed to put the little icon (whohooo!), but I didn't succeed to put my personal photo. What is really weird is that the link itself is not broken at all! If you copy and paste the link to browser navigation bar, it will open!

Weird, huh?

Anyway, I'll try to solve that in the future. At least half of the job is already done!

How can I put a 60x60 pic on the left bar, just like you and m1savage did??!! I've tried to do that changing my preferences, without success...

Please, help me out!
