@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

You know, the collector in me understands why you'd want authentic, sealed games, but the gamer in me insists that if I were to collect sealed games, I'd have to by an open copy of each, too.  Is that typically the case for those of you who collect sealed games?

And on a related note, do any of the PCE/TG hardware setups ever have problems those bootlegs of Sapphire, or do they play as well as the originals?  I ask because I know some people have trouble with CD-Rs, and I can't help but wonder if unofficial pressed discs have issues, too.

I know I saw a pic of a green Games Express CD Card somewhere recently.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  I'm going nuts looking for it again...

The Tick?  Bah, Cobra Commander had the plan back in the 80's...

I'm looking to get all the system cards I'll ever need (my DUO-RX and SuperGrafx should both be arriving on Friday; still looking into getting a Super CD-ROM² for the SX), and I've got a couple questions.

First, I want to confirm that an Arcade Card Pro works fine in a Duo-RX (i.e. there's no advantage beyond price that should make me consider an Arcade Card Duo).

Next, I want to confirm that I definitely do need a System Card 1.0 for maximum compatibility  (and as an aside, is Altered Beast the only game that needs the 1.0 card and why exactly is that?)

Third, which color Games Express card is the "better" one (the one that can access more memory)?  I believe it's the blue one, but I'm not sure (for that matter, I'm not even sure the color always determines which one is which).

This last question is just to satisfy my curiosity, but are there any games that don't like the Arcade Card but do work with the 3.0 card?

Well, it just so happens I am a supervillainous genius, so I stole your idea.  Here's the proof:

I'd love it if you could shoot them my way.  Thanks!

Glad you like them.  Here's a variation on the PC Engine logo one if you're interested:

Hello.  This is my first post here so be gentle...

I'm looking for some high quality logos for some PC Engine related stuff.  Can anyone help me out?  Specifically, I'm looking for hardware logos (ex. ShuttleGrafx) and format logos (ex. the orange triangular Arcade Card logo).  I already scoured http://brandsoftheworld.com/ and got everything there (PC Engine, Super CD-ROM², CD-ROM System, and TurboGrafx-16 logos), and I did a decent custom job of the SuperGrafx logo (not a vector image, but it looks good anyway), I'm still trying to get some others:

ShuttleGrafx
CoreGrafx, CoreGrafx II
Turbo Duo
DUO-RX
The above-mentioned Arcade Card logo
PC Engine GT
PC Engine LT
etc, etc, etc

Because I'm sure someone will want to know, the reason I want them is just to make some wallpapers for my desktop and laptop.  I've been fascinated with game system logo designs ever since I first saw the PC Engine logo in EGM way back in '89 or '90.

Here are a couple of real simple ones in case anyone might want them (both 1024x768):
