Guys want to let you know about some awesome work done by Keith Courage for me, he has been working hard on adding RGB to my Duo and I have to say it came out amazing! no bars anywhere with color so bright you will go blind and edges so sharp you will cut your eyes.

I know it is a bit of an investment but if you can spare the cash absolutely go RGB as it is worth every penny for those who want the best picture they can possibly get.

I know the guys are being rough on you and I know you want a good deal however a Supergrafx almost never goes for under 200, I myself paid 300 for one that did not work with 3 of the sgx games. Cost me another hundred to have it fixed and modded.

Your best bet if you want to score some type of deal like what you are looking for is try to snipe something off ebay at the last second.

I am not trying to be a dick to you just trying to bring you back down to reality as far as prices.

I would say what killed the sgx is that why would people reinvest in a system that ok is backwards compatible but costs 3 times as much. I think that if they had integrated the arcade card into it and really pushed it as the next system then it might have done better. As is I have not seen better copies of Ghouls and Ghosts and 1941 outside of an arcade.

I was lucky enough to get one off of ebay with 3 sgx games for 330 but I would recommend holding on to your money and going to Classic Gaming Expo where you should be able to get one for a good price

The system is dead, NEC is not making them anymore and they are not producing the games anymore. I will say I prefer to have the actual product but I don't see why this is any different then the Turbo EverDrive which no one seems to have a problem with people using that so why have a problem with burned discs?

Bernie was alluding to the long standing debate over whether or not CDRs can damage a console, totally unrelated to any moral issues of burning discs, which most peeps here don't mind one bit.

Is there any evidence that playing burned games causes any extra wear on the system? I use verbatim discs and burn with Imgburn. It's free and easy to use. I've yet to have a problem.

typically region mod/av mod just add to the total sale cost when you go to sell it. I would recommend Keith Courage on these forums, he did mine and his work is excellent.
