[Console Repair/Mod Center / Headphone jack not working on turbo express]

I have a turbo express that was showing the usual sound issues and I went about fixing the problem. Now what I have (and I am not sure if it was this way before I tried to fix the sound) is that I am not getting any sound from the headphone jack. When I plug in headphones, it is like the headphones are not being recognized and the sound still comes out of the speaker. Also, there is just a buzzing noise in the headphones.

Has anyone encountered this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
