I have a Vasteel with manual, maybe you could score that front cover and piece it together.  I love it when a good piece comes together.  It just just feels so good but you have to have a little patience for it to work.

Yea I have had things that took a while to complete. Its a great feeling when you put the pieces together and slide the completed game back on your shelf. I had a loose Spatterhouse, Double Dungeon, and Fantasy Zone that I completed with case and manual. Also had to track down a manual for my Bonk 3. Now they are stupid expensive. I just need to get a case and manual for the PCE Crazy Kiwi, and Son Son II.

Have you contacted Jodi from Turbo Reproductions? You can probably get some sweet reproduction discs for a fraction of the actual cost.

Thanks. I like to have the originals, but having some chap repros of expensive titles to hold me over until I get the original might not be a bad idea. I don't like the idea of using CDR's, so I wont go down that route. Also I didn't see disc based repros on that site, just HU cards and I have all of those.

We all have our reasons but you really are better off just getting the console region modded and buying the jp one.  You'll have access to all the cool import hueys and still save $50 or so.

Yea i already have a region modded Duo-RX, but i have a standard TG-16 and wantes to put that in a different room. I dont care if it has its case and manual l. Just want it to funchtion. Also fine if the guys dou g repros figure out a way to make a prepro Arcade card just to kind of end all the trouble of getting one.

A friend and i sat down and beat Last Alert last night in one sitting. Had a great time. Infanite continues and the fact that you dont loose your rank when uou die means you will eventually beat it given enough attempts. Now we go to pick something else to beat. I suggest everybody play the game.

Not right now but we might look into this in the future.

Please let us know. I would love to have a US region arcade card. That way i wouldnt need to mess with the super system 3.0 card and it would work with all disk games. Very high on my hopes list.

Ver 2 can have problems working correctly on a system that has a region mod, but not always. Ver 2 loads games instantly and has special features that allow it to run a custom Super CD System card.

Yes I have one and it doesn't work on my modded Duo-RX, or my modded CoreGrafx. It sucks.

I was wondering with all the empty shell that are made now for NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, why cant somebody design a tray that could slide into a standard jewel case that would hold a HU card in place. That way we can put an insert in the back and they should be fairly cheap. I have heard that somebody is making 3D copies, but not how reliable that is or if it is true, I know 3D printing is expensive, so maybe a tray would cost less in the end.

They'd be maybe a little cheaper to produce, but not much. Probably. I know nothing, though. Oops.

Similar, but with out the pegs. Just the outline of the HU card to keep it from sliding around. I know molds are expensive, but I figured that it might not be so expensive that it couldn't be done. I think paying $2 for a tray insert is fine. Its just hard for me to pay out $8 or more for a replacement case. I am sure they are expensive to produce with 3D printing, but when I can go out and buy a chump game for that same price, get the case and then have trade material with the unwanted game,  its just hard for me to justify. I am sure many think the new cases are cool, I am just wondering if there is a chance on finding a cheaper alternative. That's all. I am not meaning to anger people.

You can save money by familiarizing yourself with games you're interested in buying and what they originally shipped with. Most sellers of incomplete games title them as complete when they are not or as being more complete than competitors because they include the case... even though one was never made for the game.



In the case of TurboGrafx-16 games and North American CDs, laserdiscs, etc, they did not ship with a spine card as that's a Japanese thing.

I derped when i wrote that i guess. I dont know shy i put that there. I know obi's are Japanese only, just got carried away when typing.

People go to ebay because they dont knowbor care about the community. They dont the hasstle of waiting for somebody on a forum to have the excact game in the exact condition they are looking for. They will pay a premium for that laziness. I am guilty myself. Cant lie about it. I try to keep it at a minimun and refuse to pay the stupid prices. Although i dont have a high post count here i used to spend quite a bit of time on the instant message board. Its all about supporting the gaming community. Too bad people whom have no interest in the games are sitting aroung messing with the economy of our hobby.

I like playing on original hardware is important to me. I also like to grt as many of the US releases as I can. I do get some japanese versions if the us ones are stupid exspensive ( dynastic hero, cotton, and zonk cd) but this ones US price is isnt at that level yet. Those are some great options.

I have almost all the Hu cards for the US set and quite a few of the good Disc games and PC Engine titles as well. I was wondering which 3 I should beat. Now a few things. The games need to have an ending. Not just a "high score". Also, they don't need to be masterpieces but thy have to be playable. So no Talespin or Darkwing Duck. Im not looking to torture myself.

I was able to buy in bulk new sports games on the forum. I gutted them and now have a nice case for each of the TTI games. That's the best way to do it if you can find somebody selling them like that.  
I got Sparky's stickers and went ahead and put them on all the cases. It makes a world of difference on your shelf.

You are so right. So many people want it they will pay high prices. The thing is not only the seller gets a verbal beatdown for selling it at a high price, the buyer gets mocked and insulted for paying over what some would consider a reasonable price. So instead of posting, a lot of quiet PM's go on. I wouldn't doubt that maybe some of the people that give the verbal lashings might be ones that offer or in the past have purchased like that. Personally I think the game is way over priced. Yes, i know you can get a PCE version a lot cheaper with a case. But for some they want the set and every collector has their standards.
