That's a good call, and both Faxanadu and Popful Mail are great games. I think Faxanadu is one of the most underrated NES games out there. Falcom of course had a part in all those games, so it's no surprise that they share some elements.

It's a great game, although it is probably my least favorite from the Ys series. I am in the midst of an Ys run right now. I beat Ys Book I & II last week on the Turbo CD and the DS remake, then I played Ys III all the way through on my day off Monday on my TurboCD, very short game, only a couple of hours to beat, that includes taking a break for a nice lunch. Currently playing Ys IV Mask of the Sun for the SFC, next will be Ys IV Dawn of Ys(my favorite Ys game), then Ys V and Ys V expert on my SFC, and finally Ys VI on my PS2.

Ys III is a great game, even if it is short, the music is outstanding as it always is in a Ys game. The voice-overs are a little cheesy, but it was made before voice-overs were a big thing, so there's a certain charm to its cheesiness.

[PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / Re: Does your spouse/ other half accept your gaming ways?]

Yeah, she accepts my gaming. She always knew I was into videogames. She just didn't know how into them I was until we moved in together. When she saw all my systems and games, she was blown away. We ended up dedicating a whole extra bedroom to all the classic games. We took the sliding doors off the closet, and built a huge shelving unit. The very top shelf has some of the systems on display, ready for me to grab whichever one I will play. A bunch of cubbies under them full of all the games. She accepts it, but doesn't always understand why I would play a game like Star Tropics or Ys or any other old game when I have games like Modern Warfare 2 or Mario Bros Wii or other new games to play. She especially loves the Virtual Boy in 1 corner of room, and thinks the Turbografx 16 with the TurboCD attached looks extremely weird.

Thank you for selling me this game. It's easily one of the best for the TurboCD. It arrived quick and works perfect.

[PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / Re: How do you all sort your games?]

I converted a closet in my house to shelves that hold my games. I sort them by system and then by type of game.

[Buy/Sell/Trade / Re: CD games for sale!]

Thanks for the game, it arrived today in great condition. Pleasure doing business with you.
