hell I just twisted the wires and used tape instead of soldering it.  Took like 5 minutes!

I had the same kinda problem.  the buttons were getting flakey.

aside from that, getting a big female din and male mini din and hacking up an adapter aint no sweat.  if you're not good at it, someone else around here will probably help out no problem
Do you still have the wiring diagrams you used?  I'm going to go pick up a couple cable ends and wire them together this weekend.

Quote from: m1savage on 03/01/2010, 11:01 PMDepending on which PC Engine pad you have, you may be able to just take apart the pad, unplug the cord and plug it onto a tg16 one.
The pad I have is the one which came standard with the PCE Core Grafx.  I'll open it up tonight and try to swap the cable, although I have a feeling the problem I'm experiencing is caused by the cable itself.

Quote from: Duo_R on 03/01/2010, 10:36 PMYes they do exist, and an adapter can also be made by someone if you can't find.
Any idea where I can find an adaptor or someone to make one?

I was wondering if an adapter exists to use TG16 pads on a PC-Engine. I've been looking around for a 8-pin DIN to mini DIN adapter, but have so far come up empty handed.  My PCE pad is starting to act up (cleaning internal contacts don't help) and I have a box full of TG16 pads.
