don't pay that outrageous price. all it is is a KSS-210a, which can be easily obtained for far less in the US.

I just did mine recently.. it is a very easy replacement.

I bought a Super CD-ROM2 unit (the gray one) a while back and it seems the laser is a bit finicky and likes to cause almost eternal loading times on Dracula X.. does anyone have experience replacing the laser on this unit? I haven't been able to find any resources related to the matter unfortunately.
