Hey folks! I am looking for a 2 button PCE controller (I already have a 3 button blaster pad), doesn't really matter which color it is. Interested in one that's in decent shape cosmetically, doesn't have to be 100% perfect. Can pay up to $20 or whatever the normal rate of the controllers are.

Thanks

I really dig this thread! Japanese PCE artwork is all over the TG 16 ones.. A Huge example for me is Tiger Road:

Looking for a Sega Saturn in overall good shape with all hookups, a controller, and maybe a few games? If at all possible looking to spend under $60.

Thank you

I have a list of games out that I am going to pick up. Just waiting on the system and accessories, also will buy a 2 pad controller.

Shockman looks like an awesome game, is reasonably priced on Ebay & reminds me of Mega Man.

If anyone has a 2 Button, and a 6 Button control for sale please PM me

I had like a 4 hour conversation with RR last night.. so really got some insight into the system. Everything is being shipped, should have it all the next 2-3 weeks. I know you guys will rag on me but I am strictly sticking to the HuCards right now

Wow it has been a long time since I was on this site... anyways I picked up a core PC Engine core grafx system (black version with blue lettering), also on ebay picked up genesis 1 power adapter & genesis a/v cables (I was informed on another forum that these would work with the newer versions of the PC Engine). Controller wise I added a in mint condition Blaster Joypad. For games I am looking at Tiger Road and SF 2 to start.

Basically just want an overall opinion on the PC engine, what games should I look into, what accessories should I pick up? Not going the Duo direction or anything like that, sticking with the PC Engine for the time being.

Thanks a lot and it's great to be back

I'd like to see an Air Zonk remake, now how awesome would that be? Anyone know how well received the game was when it came out at the time?
#13
so is cool, spicey ect  just the different difficulty levels? BMW you have anything else for free man? lol jk but I will make it up to you.
#14
And not in a bad way... BMW thank you so much man I got this in the mail today! I only had the time to play it for about 10 minutes (I have tomorrow off so I'm going to be diving in full throttle) but I was so impressed, the game is super fast & just is pretty cool to me for a 16 bit game. I haven't played all the shooters yet, but being a big Bonk fan (loved the snes games and of course his turbo work) and now a super Zonk fan I just wanted to give my impression on this. If I didn't get it for free lol I would definitely pay $40 for it

good idea, anyone here want them?
#17
I don't know if they have Turbo games or not.. I'm bummed maybe someone will give me a couple cheeseburgers or something lol
#18
I don't want to get the cd system or duo but I think I may have to as I really want to play Lords of Thunder
#19
lol they are lose games damn

I got these 2 doubles off a recent Ebay purchase without really noticing it until the package came in the mail. I know the games are extremely common, but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to trade me a game for the 2 doubles that I have? The near by GameCraze will probably just give me a couple bucks if that, and before I even attempted the Ebay route I was wondering if anyone was willing to deal here?

Thanks  =P~

I officially have the 14 games now.. I'm pretty happy, I'll be making some time off on my days off. I don't know what it is about this current generation of systems (referring to the 360,Ps3, ect) but I just can't get into them. I'm more of a simple N64 and Turbo kind of guy.

I'm really liking Galaga '90 even though I played it just for a few minutes when I got home from work tonight. The music is a bit quirky but I got to level 6 in just a few minutes lol and like the space invaders feel. Bonk, man I love that dude, I'm not sure why he didn't take off as he's more an appealing mascot to kids than Mario imo. I'll post more thoughts in the coming weeks as I get more into the games.

Feels good to be playing a 16 bit system not named SNES or Genesis

wow appreciate the amount of replies... that back to black stuff seems the easiest method and when I'm a bit more motivated I'll check that out lol I'd much rather pay someone though

I'd love to have my Turbo be a clean Silver
#23
does he have a page or a contact number (member here I'm guessing?) It's not really bad bad, but it's not in perfect shape like I'd prefer. Of course I'd do it myself but I will always rather have someone else do the work and I pay them for it lol
#24
Quick question, received my turbo off Ebay and it's a bit scuffed up works great though. I was wondering if anyone knew of someone who custom painted consoles or if there was a good tutorial guide that someone had handy?
#25
u'd be better off just paying a 20 inch tv man lol or somehow buy the hookups to play it on ur current monitor
#26
wow okay, thanks bra! The last time I was on this site was 2006.. so it's a little bittersweet to return
#27
BlackBMW i sent you another PM (in case you hadn't noticed).

Yeah that's what i was talking about, I'm going to avoid the pc engine and turbo duo stuff for right now until I get some good time spent into these current games

Quote from: Mathius on 11/03/2010, 01:01 AMWelcome to the forums! November seems to be the month for new recruits. Once BlueBMW sets you up with the fantastic Air Zonk, be prepared to have the music stuck in your head for days!

Oh, and I think there is actually 136 domestic Turbo Grafx releases. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
146, actually, according to PCE Daisakusen. Not sure where 94 came from, though....
Wikipedia.. but if that;s not the case then fine lol

Got the system in the mail today, a little bit nicked up but I'm going to play a little tomorrow and see how it goes. I 4got that it had the big plastic piece on the back. BMW pm sent sir

if anyone can lead me to a good deal on Air Zonk I'd appreciate that! I'm going to buy some games here and there along the way, maybe a few a month lol my ultimate goal is to have all 94 Turbo games. Glad to see all the replies, shows that the Turbo still has much deserved support.
#30
I had a TG16 probably 3-4 years ago but ended up selling it.. now I've had a lot of systems before, but I never regretted selling any like I did with the 16. But I'm back! Last week I bought a Turbo Grafx 16 with a controller, 2 turbo stix, the multi tap, and the following games:

Military Madness
World Class Baseball
Dungeon Explorer
Jack Nicklaus Golf
Battle Royale
King Of Casino
Keith Courage in Alpha Zones
Alien Crush
Andre Panza Kick Boxing
Bonks Adventure
Chew Man Fu
Cratermaze
Galaga 90
Vigilante

I am pumped to be back, and my next purchase is definitely going to be Air Zonk

brought some tears to my eye lol it is sad how good systems come and then go without being fully supported. Nice vid
