I had to lift 5 pins and ground them. (you might be able to see them in the pic)
PS: thats an NPN transistor and 75ohm resistor under the grey
Truly awesome ! How did you come up with that ? Do you have a datasheet of the Hu/Huc6260 ?

[EDIT] Ohhh... maybe by comparison with an other NEC console for the resistors values and the pins to ground : http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=hu6260_netlist

I'm a pro Eneloop user for years now.
I recently bought for 83 € (with shipping) for 32 Eneloop (AAA 750 and 550 mAh and AA 2400 and 1900 mAh, 8 of each) at nkon.nl.

Yes, those batteries rock because they age very well (the first 8 I bought years ago are still "keeping the charge" like before) and they stay charged even if you don't use it for a long period.

My previous branded rechargeable batteries (Energizer, Duracell, ...) are really piece of crap compared to Eneloop.

Advice : Use a slow charger with rechargeable batteries, don't buy fast charger if you want them to live longer.

Quote from: thesteve on 01/21/2012, 02:43 PMto run the RGBS to an output you will need to add an amp as well, however adding composite out would just require another resistor
Yes, but all my TVs are RGB, so even if there's more work I'd prefer to get a better quality on a big screen.

Great, thank you very much for the quick reply.

[Edit] I just thought about something I wanted to do on one of my Nomad (which has a new LCD screen) : wiring the RGBS signals to the A/V output. I think I'm gonna do it with my PCE GT too. Now the side output will have a useful purpose.

Quote from: thesteve on 12/12/2011, 05:08 PMthere are 2 requirements.
(1) you will need a video encoder installed in the TE.
(2) you will need a composite display, that can be run on 5V and fit in the system
Hi,

I'd like to modify my GT too. Did you post somewhere the way you did this ?
What is this encoder made of ? I may be able to do it myself without any problem.

Thanks.
