QuoteAhh...Annet Futatabi. Picked that up a while ago because I had always wanted it (after playing El Viento) but god damn was it disappointing. Great graphics though!
Yeah, same here. I'm kinda having fun with it tho... but damn, this game screams "where the hell is my 2players mode!" Would be much better if the 2nd players could play as Ernest Evan, having them finally fight side by side would be awesome.

Quote from: FiftyQuid on 11/18/2012, 08:22 PMHow is Spy Hunter on the Vita?
Id say its decent if you can get it for cheap, but it feels more like a downloadable game that should been sold for around 10$. The graphic are bland, gameplay is ok but the car physics are total crap. I got it used for 20$ but to be honest this was not worth it... maybe for 10$... definitely not worth the retail price its asking...

Wow, some really good games you got there Bernie. Here is some of the stuff I picked up recently, its been a while since I last posted.

The DP pinball games are too good. The Necronomicon intro is so WTF?, but still bad ass!

Yeah those games are addictive! Necronomicon is my favorite so far. Music is also very badass, all of them have great music. That intro is extra cheesy, but make me lol everytime. :P

Quote from: Terminarcade on 07/15/2012, 11:32 PMLast night, at my friend's Gararcade!!! (Garage + Arcade)
I am insanely envious of that garage and its contents. :pcgs:

Honest question: Is the garage air-conditioned?

I have a nice-sized garage, but it gets way too hot in the summertime (no trees to provide shade).

It would be the only place I could put a few arcade cabinets... but I think I'd have to frame a smaller room within the garage proper, add insulation and air-conditioning...
Yes, it was air-conditioned... but it was still kinda hot since last weekend's weather was almost tropical. Hope it wont be that hot next time.

How much was that Tryrush Deppy?
I paid about 120$ for Tryrush, good price for this rare and expensive gem. Really fun side scroller/platformer exclusive on saturn. Now, Id really like to track down a copy of Super Tempo at a decent price.

I used to skip school so that I could play arcade games. I remember when Double Dragon first came out, it was a really big deal back then... I sometimes had to go downtown (Montreal) on this shaddy street full of arcade/peepshow... damn those places where filthy and scary as hell with lots of weird characters, whores, pimps, drugdealers, perverts... name it ( I was like 12 when I hung around those places). Now when I think back... glad I survived those times.

I beat 'em up Final Fight/Streets of rage style or side scroller?
A side scroller similar to Valis, but more over the top!
#18
Bayonetta would be cool in 2D or maybe Katamari.
#19
Wow, what a badass find sadler! Even that cat is speachless in front of that sexy marquee.
#20
Btw Nando, the name of the artist for the black & white frames is Camilla d'Errico :P

Quote from: Nando on 06/14/2012, 10:13 AMThat's pretty awesome man, I agree they look really really nice. What all do you play on the cab?
I can play pretty much anything on my cab, but I usually play all my shmups, fighters, platformers and other games with 2D gameplay on it. For anything else more current or 3D (when I need two stick), I play them in the living room. Will post pics tonight!
#22
Thanks! On the left are framed Cave flyers on top is Mushihimesama and under it is Progear. The framed images on the right side came from a awesome calendar... forgot the name of the artist :-k, but they looked very classie! I will try to find it (old calendar) and get back to you.

No need to be single, tho the girlfriend had to approve all this.

Sorcery is a pretty good game for the move, even tho everyone like to bash the ''move'' this game works really well with it.

#31
Just here to let others know that I sent Turbokon my old (broken) Cd-rom2 and he fixed it the day he got it. Very fast, reliable and great communication overall, a highly recommended user! Thanks again for the repair service, also good cheap prices for fixing my system *thumbs up*

LoL, that's Zero Wing (genesis) intro speach.
#35
Was playing Zero Divide on the saturn last night. I only wanted to play the hidden mini version of Phalanx (Tiny Phalanx) but damn, the cheat that is everywhere online is obviously for the Ps1. You're supposed to hold start+select on controller 2 when starting the game to unlock this... problem is saturn controllers have no select button. :-k

Anyone knows the trick for the saturn version?
#36
Quote from: HercTNT on 03/15/2012, 06:44 PMYou have to select the region of the system your going to play it on, not the region of the rom your using. You can mix us and japanese roms on the card, and put them in either us or japanese systems as long as you select the region of the system before you load the roms.
I did set the region to japan, on the right side of the window in that manager software prog, is it all there is to it? I guess not since US games wont start up... im either stuck in the menu(need to reset manually) or some weird display or loud sounds (also need to reset manually). Im using the (no-intro) set of roms and all the japanese games work very well so far. I read somewhere that I need to edit the US roms in order to play them in my jap PCE. This shit is drivin me insane...
#37
This was a pain in the ass to install on Win7... but at least I think I got most of it figured out. For now all the jap games work perfect in the original white Pce, but no luck with US games. Didint have enough time to mess around with it tho... I guess I have to select JAPAN region for each US rom before burning it to the cart?

Many other games were played, maybe only a 1/3 of what we played made it into the video. Next time I will be sure to bring my PCE, since I'm curently still waiting for a new cd-rom unit... the one I have right now is dead, stuck or something...

Btw Another frenchie? :O

Please update if you find a solution. I was about to get two of those so I can play PCE with my X-arcade dual tankstick. I have bought the same Tototek converter but for Saturn & Neo geo and they work like a charm combined with the X-arcade Ps2 adapter. I figured it would be the same with the PCE converter??? Might be a defective converter...
