Once out there with the help of locals I hope to get around to a hotel and the VGS. Anyone else in the area interested making the trip with me and meeting up with some PCFXers? (possibly seeing about sharing some cost)Awesome man. I might make the trip out too, but the logistics are abit harder (I haz a famly)
Quote from: guest on 01/24/2013, 01:39 PMInspired by this thread, I downloaded Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD yesterday. It...uh...it's not nearly as fun as I remember. Tony Hawk 2 was one of my favorite games on Dreamcast, but I just don't seem to enjoy this game anymore.Skate is teh tits!
Quote from: Tatsujin on 01/22/2013, 07:28 PMLol I've never heard about blind, element, alien workshop and stuff until recently.I got a 9" AW deck setup w/169s and some 56mm Earthwing superballs - dam fun cruising setup. I like the feel of Girl and Krooked decks also.
BACK IN THE DAY, we only knew powell peralta and santa cruz, monica airlines. Lol.
Quote from: broken on 11/14/2012, 01:54 PMI am a retro gamer because it's what I grew up on.Is it true that polygons killed gaming?
I fully believe that our teenage years our are most "impressionable" part of our life. For me most of the late 8 bit and all of the 16 bit years was right in that period of time.
That's why I prefer that era of gaming. Sit me down in front of a NES, PCE or Megadrive and a handful of good games and I will play for hours on end.
Stick me in front of a PS3 or 360 and I would be lucky to make it past most games training/intro level.
Quote from: guest on 11/11/2012, 04:44 PMI was always a pretty loyal EGM guy. At least before the Ziff Davis takeover.Same here, EGM was the shizzle back in the day. Sheng Long April Fools was classic.
Quote from: kazekirifx on 11/09/2012, 02:59 AMYep. I want some right now! But it gets old after staying in Seoul for a few days. I mean, Korea has other food too, but I find it all tends to taste a bit more similar and less diverse than Japanese food. Japan does western food better too.But only Korea has Gangnam Style!
(I may sound blatantly pro-Japan here, but I find other westerners who stay in Korea for a while tend to say the same thing.)
Quote from: glazball on 10/26/2012, 11:23 AMI believe the Mini only has the JP 21-pin in for RGB, looks like the Euro SCART. Hope to finally pick up a Mini myself after the holidays. They're sexy.Mini actually uses RGB mini din 8. They provide an adapter for JP 21 pin.
Quote from: SuperDeadite on 10/24/2012, 09:47 AMLol, the whole point of this topic was that FX's S-Video with an XRGB can look quite decent. There is no way to RGB mod an FX, it simply can't be done, unless someone has come up with some major vodoo recently.Aha, excuse my n00biness.
