Thanks for the tips guys... Couldn't find any at a reasonable price in Sweden so I got this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSAA:US:11&Item=190094667123

Works like a charm :)

I finally ordered Valis IV (don't know why it took me so long), $26.99 complete with spine..

Also I finally got my precious Arcade Card Pro in the mail yesterday, got it for only $29.99 (since I was stupid enough to include my Arcade Card Duo when I sold my other Duo-r)... Finally I can play Sapphire again :P

Okay, I'll look around the local shops then :)

Thanks mate!

Hi guys, I was hoping you could help me out. I recently moved to a new apartment and now the couch too far away from the tv, so I figured I could use an extension cable. But my problem is; I don't know where to find one (at a reasonable price) since I live in Sweden

I found cables at http://www.midwest-games.com and http://www.tzd.com but it seems like the first won't ship internationally and the later having totally overprised international shipping rates ($31 for a tiny cord?!?!).

Any suggestions on other places to look?

Thanks!

Risky business. I would never pay that amout for a copy of Shappire without inspecting it myself first (heck, I'd not pay that much for any game). I can't believe someone dares to buy those things. €50 for a sealed bootleg I can live with but not that... Well if one is stupid enough to buy, there surely been one to sell. Me, I don't have the heart to scam someone like that.

I must agree with Seldane on this. I've seen YSIV go for less quite a few times.

General Gaming / Which system to get??
02/02/2006, 05:48 PM
Voted mega drive/genesis. Such a great system with a wide varaity of games, but is a little short on solid RPGs compared to the Snes. Go for the first model since the second one lacks the headphone connector, hence no stereo-sound output.

On the other hand, the Saturn is really a wonderbox as well. It's got it all, great shooters, some excellent CPS2 conversions, other fun games like baku baku animal and nights and a (of course) few great rpgs as well.

You should be pretty pleased with either...

PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / Snatcher

Maybe the voice acting in US-version of Snatcher isn't the best voice acting ever, but it's not bad, frankly I think it's really good. The splendid work of the actors is partly the reason why I love Snatcher as much as I do...

Quote from: SeldaneHey, Dave George! LMG! LMG!

I'd say get a DUO-R/RX. If your system dies on you you're just unlucky. Some systems last forever, some don't.

Yup yup that's me

Yeah, seems like I'll go for yet another duo-r/rx (when I have been digging up enough gold to afford one), while having 2 duos failing on me in 6months I must be one unlucky S.O.B or the pc-engine sceene is a far for expensive playground than I imagined

Thank you everyone for your input :)

Since it seems that my second duo is giving up on me :(

It looks like I need to buy me yet another wonderbox from Nec but I just wanted to confirm something first.

When I had troubles with the cd-unit in my old PCE DUO I think someone said that going for a briefcase set-up or possibly a Super CDrom2-interface would be better. But I went for a DUO-R instead which has been great until recently (bought it in August 2005).

Is it true that loose cdrom2 or Super CDrom2 units are of better quality than those of the DUO/DUO-R/DUO-RX?

Ps, I tried to search the forum, but did not find what I was looking for so if this is a commonly asked question I bid for you forgivness  Ds.
