The noise comes from the rotation of the CD motor not the lens one, so the media has nothing to do.

In fact it works, I just find it a bit noisy so I had the idea to replace it, if I could find a suitable part for replacement.

All I have to do is to pry up ?
To reinstall I just need to push hard ?

I would to replace my duo main CD-ROM motor, so looking for part reference and I do not know how to remove the upper round spinning part where the cd clips ?
