Lemony: I had crazy issues with mine that were fixed by using a multi tap instead of a direct connection. However, the soldering of the rj45 connection on that Cthulhu was incredibly bad, I always assumed that was my issue.

I wired everything up myself so I know its good . I've also been told that the multitap will fix issues so I have one from RAZO on the Neo Forums.

In other news, your Saturn/AES to Wii converter is done, just need to test it.

I've crimped the cable per this post:

and all my inputs  are going nuts! Left also presses run, Right presses II.. I've seen other users having this issue as well, except when they play US games in their (modded) PCEs they don't have any issues!

Does anyone have a MC Cthulhu stick and are you experiencing the same issues?

I have nothing productive to add to this conversation.  I just wanted to go on the record that I think "Lemony Vengeance" is an awesome handle.

Thanks! I've had it for about 10 years now while a relative noob in the PCE scene, I'm well known in arcade circles.

on a lighter note, I added a transistor RGB amp to my Core Grafx, complete with 8 PIN DIN. Even made my own scart cable . just don't have a pad to play with. Next step, replacing the IC. Will the Genesis pad's IC work with the PCE pad?

If the pad isn't working out for you, many prefer tampons.

hey all,

Just picked up a CG with R-type I and II with a pad and while the console plays perfectly the pad doesn't. It recognizes up and down, but when I press left it hits the run button as well. The right direction is the fire button. I'm not sure what's wrong..
Has anyone encountered this?
