As title says the last retail pc engine game i'm after must complete with spincard and in atleast exellent condition (no sunfade eg) i know it's probably a long shot but you never know i can pay 600 euro for it.

i'm also after a power league gold Hu card (1500 euros)
and some other promo stuff like faceball preview disk but it's not high on my want list atm, i'll check what i'm missing

thanks for taking the time to read this and sorry if it wasted your time in any way!

ps : Also whilest we are busy i need these sega games to complete my jpn megadrive collection been busy with it for nearly 10 years so i'd like to complete it :

Wwf raw on super 32x

and sadly these for the regulair megadrive : wwf raw, maximum carnage and forman boxing

Their are a ton of games on the pc engine that are still to this day exclusive to the system. Now i don't know what is on the japanese virtual consoles avaible but really digital versus a hard copy my choice would be made already.
Some of the best games on earth were released on the system making them more in demand and expensive but generally i find pc engine prices not too bad still a lot of good games can be had for cheap even on ebay.

Did a trade recently for these, I had no pier solar before now i have 2 of the first print, the euro version is up for trade if anyone may be interested, it's not been opened either so you could send it the one and only vga haha.

As for the 32x games, i kind of like kolibri

Quote from: kurre on 04/15/2013, 12:08 PMYes, well it wasnt that hard figuring out they were rare. I have had them over a month also.. I didnt write it but i went back to the fleamarket the day after to see if i missed something(i was at work, even switched my schedule so i could go back.)

I dont know if i want to sell them right here on the spot, but im considering selling(cant even play the games, would be fun to try them out tho).
Concerning ebay i probably wont sell there since i havent done it before. Dont have feedback etc.

The reason i came here was to get à fair clue on the value on the games since it seems to vary everywhere i read..
Best thing you can do is either get yourself a pc engine duo and enjoy the hell out of these games or either get paypal and sell them off.

Quote from: Tatsujin on 04/15/2013, 11:49 AMbtw. kazumn, I never doubted that he does not own all these games, but the swedish flea market cd selling lady is bullshit big times. that's what getting me all upset about, and is an insult to everyone with just a little amount of brains.

I have no clue about his real intentions here so far, but it sure smells fishy against the wind from very far away.
Sure i feel the same and let's be clear i'm not really trying to defend anyone in any way if that is what you think. when thinking about it their are Some things i can't really get past, living in sweden and selling in us dollars euhm you live in europe and selling in a lower currency then euro, the question is Why dollars instead of euro seems fishy to me, he doesen't own paypal after all?

If it were some rare pal games the story would have been much more believable, in all my years i went to fleamarkets and such i came across exactly 3 japanese games here in belgium with is over the course of like 10-12 years, sure i found the odd bargain here and there but they were pal games and that was like before everyone seemed to be into retrogaming.

maximum carnage is one of the rarest and if imo the most expensive jpn megadrive retail release you can buy. I would easy pay a small fortune for a mint one! It's on par with jpn versions off wwf raw and GF boxing.

Wheter the story is true or not it could be possible, since i wasen't their i'll give you the benifit of doubt and i'm fairly positive you have these games, altough i could swear their was a dude on neogeo from sweden that had in his signature the exact same 3 games for sale, i was going to pm him about maximum carnage but i take you're the same guy right?

as for the story look at it this way and ask yourself the question if you would pass away and you're wife/parents were to sell off you're collection are they going to check every single item how much it is worth, i honestly doubt it mine sure as hell woulden't.
I honestly doubt any of the story is true but you never know either way i'm just guessing how the lady would gotten those games haha.

Fighting Street / Re: VGA Gradings?
04/03/2013, 04:43 AM
one other thing is it possible to take the game out of the case or is it trapped in their forever?

To be honest i think the whole Vga thing is retarted, it's meanly due to the greed of sellers tough, sure it's good for a laugh every once in a while but it's also annoying for us gamers/collectors to get a fair deal on certain items i'm sure most know what i mean. Then again i'm also guilty of paying a premium for sealed games just to have them in the shape i want them in also the feeling of opening the fucker up and knowing you're the first to play it in all these years makes me smile and saddens me at the same time  it had to wait that long to be played (well if it's a good game that is).

But to each his own i guess when i have to pay a premium for a game in order to get it, atleast i would like to get some sort enjoyment out off it.

ey heard u don't like vga graded items but instead luv to spend ur hard earned monnies on pee cee engine system cards.
u should send them one of your system cards for teh grading.

Since i coulden't find a thread about it and considering atleast 10% of the entire pc engine libary consist of racing games. What are your favourites, what is fun to play, what sucks, great multiplayer, hidden gem etc.
Apart from shoot em ups, racing games are my favourite genre i can dig some of those hudson top down f1 racers from time to time.

Luckly for us not a lot of graded pc engine games around, i doubt i've ever seen one. What would a graded copy of f1 pilot be worth graded i'd guess even my dumbster would spit it out.

Don't really get the point of the whole grading it's just a plastic box with a sticker slabbed on, things anybody could do really, who in their right mind is going to spend 10-50 times the price for that?

this has got to be a joke right :

Awesome collection but i guess you already know that. I'm Really wondering how many copies off akiyamjin are floating around?
#32
Don't know if you've got a solution or not as this thread is quite old already so in advance my apoligies if this has been answered.

Your best bet would be to buy a ntsc to pal converter, they can be had for about 30$ orso on ebay and work quite well infact, only requirement is that your tv can output a 60hz signal.

Now i must say when you have a tv from a chinese/korean/taiwanese manufacter i'm fairly sure it can accept ntsc signals or atleast so i'm told.

In my case when i hook it up to my deawoo crt tv it doesen't need a converter at all but when i hook it up to my sony crt downstairs it does need a converter.

NEC Console Resource / Hello
03/29/2013, 11:19 AM
Hello,

Hope everybody is doing well and since i have been finally approved why not introduce myself. I've been lurking the site for years without making an account but yeah here goes :

My name is sebastiaan i come from Belgium. I grew up with the sega master system and megadrive, never really bothered with anything nintendo during my childhood.
I've discovered the pc engine and had the pleasure to play one sometime in 2001, i bought a duo-r  soon after with a stack of games, somehow never really got around to play it much and their it sat, in 2008 i hooked it up again and was hooked ever since have around 650 ish games right now and keep buying and buying haha, so yeah i guess the idea is going for a complete pc engine over time. The thing that drew me to the pc engine is to vast amount of shoot em ups and obscure titles only a few people know about. my favourite game would be spriggan i'd guess love that game with a second spot to super darius 2.
so yeah i guess that's about it, looking forward to being an active poster on pcenginefx.

take care
seb
