Due to some unfortunate auto problems I am forced to sell some items in my collection. I will try to price everything fairly but offers are accepted. Shipping is included except for Canada. I won't ship to other countries. Thank you for your help

Sold! Neo Geo Aes us system with memory card, two controllers, cables, and five complete games:

IMG

The Neo Geo system works great and so do the controllers. All the games work great although I have noticed some graphical glitches on the game the super spy, but I got it new so it must have been damaged at one point in it's life.

Turbo Express with TV Tuner, Recapped: $120

IMG

I recapped this system myself and it works great. The sound through the speaker is good and awsome through the headphones. I think there is one dead pixel in the left corner but I never notice it.

Sold!Turbografx game system with games:

IMG

This turbografx system has the turbo cd dock and an aftermarket power supply that works great with it. All the games are complete and work perfectly. All the controllers work great and comes with the cd case.

Sale PendingGameboy game lot: Give me an offer

Various gameboy games I've collected throu trades and finds. I have a lot of cases for these games as well Will not split up

Atari Lynx model 2: make me an offer

Thank you for your help.

Hi, I recently aquired a turbografx with cd dock station and system 2.0 card but no cd drive. I was wondering about how much a cd drive costs nowadays. I don't really care if its for the turbografx or the pc engine as long as its working. If anyone knows their average cost and who may have some for sale let me know. I may not have the cash to buy one right now, but I wanted to know for the future. Thanks!

More scans for everyone!

These are all from issue #6 of egm from January 1990

Unfortunately some water damage ruined the front cover,

IMG

The inside pages are alright though

IMG

IMG

IMG

Some turbografx game previews and one ad

IMG

Kinda odd ad campaign as far as art direction but still neat

And for fun an atari 7800 ad because, well, how many of those do you see, especially this late in it's lifespan?

I don't know how to combine 2 page ads, sorry.

I tried to up the scan quality this time. Enjoy!

Just to keep all the ads in one spot?

No problem. I have plenty more I can scan, I just want to do a few at a time though.

Why do I have the feeling that they only had a couple of screenshots and a small description in japanese to work with?
Haha yeah early egm was great, the goofyness and layout just screams early 90's game magazine, and is why I love reading them :)

Hi, I noticed a lot of people were enjoying reading the scans of egm that talked about the turbografx, so I though I would scan some of the articles I had from my egm collection. This is just a small amount of the turbografx ads and articles I have, but I only wanted to scan a few per night. Anyways, I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did!

All the pictures here are from egm issue #16 (November 1990)

Hi, I'm looking for the tv tuner for the turbo express. If anyone has one I would be willing to pay up to $25 shipped for it. Thanks!

Thanks for all the welcomes and information guys! Sorry I beat you to it fiftyquid but I really wanted it also. I'm actually the one fixing my tg express and it works great now, although I may go and replace the rest of the caps just to get make sure there are no other bad ones ( I just replaced the audio and video ones). On that note whats with all the glue in the top left of the board, it looks like it's making the caps hard to remove. Anyway thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Quote from: hoobs88 on 06/18/2013, 10:06 PMRetro Game Cave sells power supplies for various NEC consoles (Turbo Grafx, Turbo Duo, Turbo Express, and PC Engine).

http://www.retrogamecave.com/nec-ac_adapter.html
Unfortunatly it looks like their sold out :( If anyone has a spare power supply for sale let me know. For anyone who may be interested in the green bag, I'm not sure of its value but I do have a few items I'm looking for.

A turbo vision and some games
A cd drive pc engine or turbo

Like I said I have no clue of its value so if you guys feel its worth way less than that I could always ad cash.

Thanks for your guys advice and opinions!

After waiting a long time for a good way to enter the turbografx scene, I found it a couple weeks ago. I managed to get lucky and nab it in an overlooked listing for just over $300 and I think I got a very good deal, but I'll let you guys decide.

IMG

The turbografx works good but the power supply isn't for the cd system, just the turbografx so if anyone knows where I can get a replacement let me know. The turbo express had no audio or video but I was able to repair it and now its rocking. Before anyone asks I am keeping the case because I think it's sweet and it will be useful for trips but if anyone is interested the green bad is up for trade. Excited to enter the world of turbografx!

For those interested here is the original ebay listing

Quote from: Keith Courage on 06/18/2013, 06:35 PMCorrect me if I am wrong but doesn't the screen get crazy bright and faded when the batteries are dying?
Looks like that was the issue. Tried some new batteries and the screen looks great. Thanks!

I recently acquired a non working turbo express and after replacing the 3 main audio caps and the video cap in the top right of the board, got it to work quite well. However, I noticed that the screen seemed bright, so bright in fact that even with brightness turned all the way down it was still a bit too bright. Does anyone know of any other caps that may effect the video or brightness that I should replace. Thanks!

I am getting my first tg16 with some games tomorrow and I will post some pics of me playing then.

Thanks everyone for the info! In the future I'll probably get a pc engine cd drive since I'm sure their much easier to find and I don't care about asthetics so long as it works

Hi, I recently purchased off ebay a turbografx with the cd dock and sysyem card, but no drive. Since the pc engine cd rom is more common and the two appear to just have different shells, I was wondering if it would work. Thanks for any knowledge you guys have.

Looks like this one though,

Quote from: playthegame119 on 06/10/2013, 09:09 PMIsn't there an official turbo express case that was sold through mail order? That thing is pretty sweet but apparently also rare. I just won one in an ebay auction with an express and turbografx 16 stsyem, is it fairly rare?
Pics.
I'll post the ebay page link once it's been shipped : )
