@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Perhaps...this time next year.
Jesus! You are kidding right? Why not do a quarterly issue, or is it super time consuming to produce content for these?

Anyway, I'll be there supporting issue 2 all the way!!!!

Ooh this makes me excited.

Just ordered star parodier cover.

Keep up the good work bud. As for suggestions for the next issue, how about collector pics and interviews. I miss them in Retrogamer. You have so many opportunities with this. If you do it right and we in turn keep supporting, who knows where this will go!

Sunteam_paul for prime minister!!!!!!!

Man, I'd be up for a copy of this. Also, I'm really happy you are considering a totally new content issue 2.  =D>

Apologies, I've not read the whole thread yet, but do you have any ideas as to what would be in the new issue?

Can we make suggestions to help you?

Quote from: majors on 11/08/2013, 08:21 AMIs $100 a fair price? I remember Drac X was at $200 ten years ago but after the PSP release it dropped back down.
Do you have one for sale bud?

Hi you lovely lovely people!

As the title says, I'm looking for a complete copy of Dracula X for a fair price ( [-o<)

I'm sick of having to trawl ebay  ](*,) and getting ripped off on the price.

Help me and I'll be for ever in your debt.

Feedback / Feedback forum
10/19/2013, 02:48 PM
Maybe I'm going blind, but I don't see a feedback forum. I think this would be a great idea as people on here would feel more confident dealing with someone if they have positive feedback. Also it could help weed out the scammers, liars and crap modders.

Any thoughts people?

P.S. If there is a feedback forum on here, could someone point it out to me because I need to leave some for a great guy I've dealt with on here.  :)

Problem resolved.

It was the stupid power supply that come with the machine!!!!!

I'd still love to know if another consoles psu would work with this. I'm not over convinced with the quality/performance of the one that came with the machine.

Hi guys,

I'm new here and pretty much a complete noob when it comes to anything technical, so I'm asking for your help.

I've just got a super CDROM 2 with a core grafx and I'm having issues. Firstly, it isn't modded in any way. When I connected it to my lcd tv, the lid would not shut properly so no cd games would work. I opened it up and there was a loose wire which shows  the busy light on the unit. This has now been put back in place.

I fired up the machine with the power supply that came with it (set at 12v) and absolutely nothing.

It came with the red, white &yellow av cable and I'm not sure where to connect that on my sony 40ex503 lcd tv.

Will any other power supply work with it, i.e. The sega megadrive mk1 psu?

Thanks in advance

Thanks man, I may just do that. I'm in the uk so shipping would bump the price up but that's no biggie.
#15
Thankyou bud, do they come up on here often?

I'd rather stay away from ebay if poss.
#16
Hi you good people, I'm new here and I have noob question that you have possibly been asked several times before.

My question is, I have an IFU-30 and was wondering if I want to use it with RGB out, do I have to modify the unit itself or can I just use the RGB out on the PC Engine console?

Thanks in advance.

Hi people,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but what should I be looking at paying for a CDROM 2? I have the IFU-30 already.

I'm very new here and you help/expertise would be greatly appreciated.

I have also posted a question in the mod/repair section.

Thanks in advance.

Mmm, interesting indeed. Obviously I'm pretty new to all this, but I didn't realise that people would copy a game that is not overly expensive.

How can you tell if its a copy or not?

I know about the saphire copy's and that some guy was doing a 25th year anniversary special with two other games but that's about it.
This is why I joined here, to learn from the experienced and to not get my fingers burnt hopefully.

Authentic milky white only for me.

Absolutely no disrespect to anyone but the little milky oozes sex appeal compared to the turbo grafx.

What do the rest of you think?

I still can believe it. I may drink quite a few tonight to drown my disbelief.

Or, I may treat myself to a Rainbow Islands CD as way of recovery from the trauma!

Any of you guys have one at a fair price? Or is it Ebay and their usual crazy prices?

Where in Europe was it most popular? I'm far from an expert but I'm thinking France.

Well I just got back and all I can say is..... OMFG!!! Where have all the old school arcade machines gone? The last time I was in Blackpool was @ 10 years ago and they still had a few then.

The only thing I found which could be classed as a "classic" was Daytona USA!

It's not fair, I want pixels not polygons  :(.

As a result, I didn't play a single game. Looks like I'm gonna take Necromancers advice........... Out come the beers!

Oh I miss the good old days!

Thanks man, it's just a pity it's mostly in my loft (very well packaged and sealed).

I've got a little more stuff like NDS, Wii, PSP and N64 but just couldn't remember everything whilst I was doing my first post!

Hi man, just joined myself and yeah you are young compared to me at least!

PCE is the way forward, you will never regret owning one. If it was only released in the uk officially in its original white form, god only knows where NEC would be today in the video games industry.

Hello to everyone.

I'm a new member from the UK, I'm 38 (39 in less than 3 hours!) and have loved the PC Engine since I was about 15. I've always loved video games since I was 12 when I got my first home computer which I still have.

I'm a member on Neo-Geo.com and have been there since 2011. I've lurked behind the scenes on this site since around the same time and hope to find this site just as good and helpful.

I will probably need some technical help in the future with one or two of my items but just for now, I will give you a vague list of my stuff as most of it is stored away as we don't have the space at home at present.

Here goes,

Amstard CPC464 with green monitor and games.
Amiga 500 with lots of original games.
Megadrive Pal model, Asian and Japanese.
Original gameboy.
Gameboy advance.
Snes
Neo Geo AES
Neo Geo MVS arcade machine
Neo geo CMVS
And last but most certainly not least, my PC Engine stuffs....
3 white original PCE. One original boxed, 1 RGB modded and 1 loose that came with an IFU-30.
SuperGrafx RGB modded.
Duo-R RGB modded.
And a few games for the above.
Lots of Retro Gamer mags and some old CVG complete guide to consoles which I bought when I was about 15ish.
Oh, and hopefully a CD ROM unit for the IFU-30 by sometime next week.

Look forward to chatting and learning from you guys and girls (if there is any, no offence intended).
