My favorite Irem game for the PCE would be R-type Complete. As for them as a company, I really like Dragon Breed. I wish that game would of been ported. But as for my favorite piece of Irem hardware, I love my Madonna cabinet. I should put a Vigilante PCB in there, as you are saving 'Madonna' in the game.

As someone who just purchased a Everdrives for a few systems, I find access to the card beneficial. If I had "sealed" up my first go on my NES cart, I would be pissed. I'm on my forth revision now, organizing, deleting, adding, etc.. I think the carts could of been designed to not have easy access to the card, but really, once it's in the system itself, who cares what it looks like. I would on the otherhands like to have some 3D printed shell for the Turbo Everdrive, like what StoneAgeGamer did.

I play in quite a few score competitions, and requiring original hardware, camcorder feeds, and a long list of to-do's and not-to-do's is a little ridiculous. I am totally down for a Blazing Lazers competition. Will I camcorder it? No. I think a final score pic would suffice. Will I milk the bosses? No. But if someone wants to (all 1CC/Sissy people do), then let them do it. Just some thoughts. Please ignore me if want. But like I said, I am always down for a good SHMUP challenge.

I would say enter me but my post count is still too low. I only picked up a DUO-R recently, and my only Hu as of this date is an everdrive. I like the port of R-Type for PCE, as I've played both the Hu and Complete. Enjoy this genre defining SHMUP to whomever wins this!

I'm sure you guys already know this, but Turbokon was great to deal with. The DUO-R came shipped covered in bubble wrap and boxed nicely. He even threw in a free faulty Shuttle controller, that I was able to get working after a good cleaning. The console is as pictured/described, and I am happy with how nice the system is. The serial numbers even match on the box. Thanks again!

I'll post pics once I get my PVMs back. Now I'm just waiting on my RGB amp/cable from Broken.
