I saw your post about Alien and Devil's Crush from a while back, so I figured it would be perfect. Not only that, when I received my TG-16 Xmas 1989, the game I got alongside it was Alien Crush, so I have some pretty mad Xmas nostalgia for it. It's a great game, I hope you enjoy it. And the stickers too! Figured I'd throw in another weird piece of 80's nostalgia for ya.I've been having a blast with it. I actually opened everything on Christmas day, just never got around to uploading the picture until now

Quote from: guest on 12/30/2015, 12:26 PMPrepping for book 2 has begun (making a big list of JP Hus and working out what to include).Awesome! Can't wait!
Quote from: turbokon on 11/10/2015, 09:43 PMThanks Elder, glad to hear you're enjoying the gamegear.I'll be doing a video of it in the coming weeks, so don't be surprised if a few people hit up your site and ask for additional info ;) It deserves to be seen by the world!!! haha. Seriously though, I want to show people just how awesome this thing is.
Quote from: munchiaz on 10/27/2015, 02:04 PMI was thinking of getting one for HnK. Love that game, and Arc did an amazing job with it (why can't this be done with a DBZ game) Anyway, a buddy of mine may have one in a storage unit he is willing to sell to me, hopefully i find out soon. I just got myself a vega jr. control box (supergun) So i'm going to be diving into a lot of arcade stuff.Awesome, have fun. The only thing I dislike with arcade games is the bloody size haha. Even if you don't have cabs, the PCBs take up SO much room. If you start to get into CPS-II games, good luck! I have around a dozen or so and I have boxes everywhere.
Quote from: majors on 10/26/2015, 08:33 AMI had a AW mobo and a few games(Fist, NGBC and Valour) a while back but ended up selling like Punkic did. I do still borrow one for cons to run FotNS, Rumble fish 2 and sometimes Dolphin Blue. It's definitely much better to run on a Hi-rez cab. But I have no interest is owning one again. Thanks for sharing those images, looked like it was a lot of fun.
Joey Tran brought his mobo with RF2 to Summer Jam this year.
Quote from: GohanX on 10/25/2015, 11:16 AMI've got a consolized AW and about 5 games, I love the thing. Fist of the North Star is everything I love about fighting games, and Dolphin Blue is awesome. The system's worth keeping around for just those two.Fully agree. I would argue that Dolphin Blue is enough to reason to purchase an Atomiswave. I don't know why, but I just adore that game, and it hasn't been ported anywhere else, which sucks because more people need to experience it. It's especially awesome in VGA mode.
Quote from: PCEngineHell on 10/25/2015, 01:08 PMI've actually been kinda wanting one. Hokuto no Ken is mainly why.I've been on the hunt for that one for a while, but haven't had a chance to pick it up yet.
Quote from: fluxcore on 10/25/2015, 04:07 PMI like samsho6 plenty, and always wanted to get into HnK, unfortunately my atomiswave's motherboard is pretty much scupperedThat's why I'm going over mine right now to determine if I raffle off the second one I just got, or keep it 'just in case.'
Quote from: PunkCryborg on 10/25/2015, 04:19 PMI had one and most the games for a while. Got kind of tired with it and the games don't look too good in my low res candy cabs. Also that fan is so loud!Yes that fan is DAMN loud, but it certainly looks nice with the right setup.
Quote from: BigusSchmuck on 10/25/2015, 12:48 AMCall me lame.. Guilty Gear X. Enough said.Call you lame?!? Guilty Gear X is fantastic. I've never been able to find 1.5 for a good price. People are asking insane prices for it.
Quote from: EvilEvoIX on 10/25/2015, 01:01 AMI was a fan of the unit and almost bought into it after the Neo Geo was discontinued so I could pop it into my MVS Cab. Ive only played Metal Slug 6 and KOFXI. Great system. Is yours consolized?Nope both of my mobos aren't consolized. I have a SuperGun if I want to connect it to my home entertainment system. I bought into it like you said, right after the discontinuation of the MVS. I don't regret it either as I scored it for a good price back in the day, and have most of the games I wanted for it.
Quote from: seieienbu on 10/25/2015, 03:43 AMIn the early 2000s, I used to play games at my local arcade, Animation Town, almost every weekend. Just about as soon as it was out they got a copy of The Rumble Fish. I'd play it a few games whenever I went down there and would generally have nobody to play it with. The owner was a pretty cool guy and would play whatever game you were playing if nobody was playing with you. If he won a match he'd even put more tokens in the machine for you. He was just about the only guy who ever played Rumble Fish with me.There are five games I still want to pick up, The Rumble Fish, The Rumble Fish 2, Guilty Gear Version 1.5, Guilty Gear Isuka, and Fist of the North Star. I know Isuka isn't that great, but I have a few friends who really enjoyed it.
I liked the game well enough and a year or so later I asked the owner if he was going to buy the sequel. He responded something along the lines of "If anyone else asked I'd slap them." I always wanted to play the second Rumble Fish game but it never got a port anywhere.
Anyway, I always thought Atomiswave was pretty cool. Heh, I haven't thought about one in a while. Maybe I'll pick one up at some point so that I can finally get around to playing Rumble Fish 2.
Quote from: RyuHayabusa on 10/25/2015, 10:30 AMI love the Fist of the North Star/Hokuto No Ken fighting game. It's pure fan service all the way, with the finishing moves, background details, etc. I had dreamt of an HnK fighting game like that for years and when it finally came out, it far exceeded even what I had imagined. A definite must for any HnK fan.Indeed! I've been looking for a decently priced copy for some time now.
Quote from: SuperDeadite on 10/25/2015, 10:37 AMI always found the Atomiswave to be pretty ''meh''. Some fun can be had with it, but not enough to be worth owning imo. As for games, I'd say Rumble Fish 2 is the most interesting one.Yeah it's certainly no MVS, but I always found it an interesting side-note for SNK fans. I also am a huge fan of Dolphin Blue. The Rumble Fish are two games that have been exceedingly challenging to find, but maybe one day. I've played them both before, and they're certainly unique.

Quote from: shubibiman on 10/24/2015, 10:57 AMWow ! That Sinistron looks sweet !I'm glad to have it
Quote from: WoodyXP on 10/24/2015, 11:20 AMFinal Zone II and Last Alert. You picked up two of my guiltiest pleasures in one scoop. Quality pick-up all around. Congrats! Thanks. I've been looking for some of these for a while, and was so glad when I saw them up for sale
Quote from: Lost Monkey on 10/22/2015, 09:17 AMThis Back to the Future stuff has made me smile a lot the last couple days. You and I both. I am a huge fan of this series, and I have loved all the cool things people have done to commemorate this special occasion
Quote from: TR0N on 10/21/2015, 03:13 AMI just wanted to mention that Sturmwind absolutely blew my mind. I knew the game was in development for years and years, but the end result was spectacular. Let me know what you think of it.
Quote from: Rick_Son on 10/16/2015, 10:56 AMCurrently just a Turbo Grafx from the 90s and I own a handful of games back when Funcoland was still around lol (Old School!)Haha, Funcoland, I remember that. Welcome aboard, enjoy the madness!I'm currently working on grabbing a PC-Engine Duo since I've been recently grabbing imports.
Quote from: guest on 10/14/2015, 03:06 PMThe Sega-CD has a comparable library of non-"fmv" games as the Turbo-CD. Way too many to list. If someone were to say that they prefered the Sega-CD library to the Turbo-CD, I'd understand why, even if I don't agree.Indeed that's a true statement, however to the masses they sure wouldn't know that back then. All I ever saw were the FMV commercials for games. To be fair, I never even saw TurboDuo commercials back then, but I still think it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if say they had strong marketing for something like Rondo of Blood compared to say SEGA's marketing of Night Trap. Maybe nothing would have happened, but I like to think that perhaps things would have been different.
Playing Keio Flying Squadran sure beats the snot out of playing Hawaii Bikini Girls.
