[PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / Turbo-Express Backlight/Screen Problem?]

I Just bought a broken TE for use as parts if my first one dies. To my suprise, I was able to get this one to operate. Although, it has low sound and the screen took a little while to start working. I set it down and the screen went completely out and a small tap on the case and it came back. I would like to know if you guys think it is worth the effort to try to repair it or just put it in the closet for use as parts as planed.
